The City of Elgin Food & Drink Festival takes place on 18 August, with more than 80 food and drink producers, live cooking demonstrations, treasure hunts and live music. Why not stay for the weekend at Silver Sands and enjoy this delicious day out.

An amazing effort by the Silver Sands team at the annual Lossiemouth Raft Race on Sunday. We didn't win the Toilet Seat trophy, but we didn't sink either! Well done everyone.

This is our 3rd year coming to silver sands and we absolutely love it, the staff are fantastic and make you very welcome, we are definately booking again for next year x

Silver sands is an amazing site,been coming here since I was 2 years old(now 44) now my kids are loving coming here every year too �

My Boyfriend and I arrived here on Monday.. we were meant to be staying for one night in our Campervan and celebrate my Birthday here. My boyfriend proposed to me that night � The staff here were lovely,gave us champagne and treated us well. We enjoyed ourselves that much we booked another night..then another..right up until today and we need to leave for work. The staff are all great,the bar staff and reception staff..and especially the new staff member Leanne..who looked after us and was very helpful chatty and kind..she was great with the other guests kids and very attentive to everyone. The swimming pool was great..the showers were hot with a great spray. We will be back as soon as we have more days off work and will come back on the 30th of April every year to celebrate our engagement here. We loved our time here..Thank you Silver Sands from Joyce and Douglas. ��

Just got back from Silver Sands - we had a lovely holiday, all staff were great and very friendly, thanks for a great time.

Just back from a weekend in silversands and my boys absolutely loved it, they had so much fun. All the staff were really friendly and the entertainment staff were brilliant with my son's a big thank you to Nicole who has a natural talent with kids she is all they talked about on the way home. Thanks again and we will see you's soon

Just back from a great weekend at silversands. Such a great location, the beach is stunning. Kids loved the food and the entertainment. Only small complaint was a lot of the machines in the arcade weren't working but apart from that it was great and we will definitely be back!!

Just back from a fantastic couple of days camping! Great site, clean facilities , friendly staff and entertainment! Will defo be back again X

I absoultely loved my holiday, I rented a caravan through the site, it's sad that the caravan wasn't very clean but other than that we had a great time entertainment staff work so hard and are attentive to everyone especially leanna she was great with my niece and nephew and kept the little monkeys entertained will be back next year �

Great short break. Facilities good. Toilet & washing block very clean. Food good. Surrounding area fantastic views, with picturesque beach a stone's throw away. Certain to return in the very near future.

Great entertainment and food at the restaurant and a brilliant little shop if you need anything. The chippy is also brilliant! Came up here for a week and the staff were really friendly and inviting. �

Fantastic caravan park. Great for kids plenty to do for them. Chill time for adults

Fantastic 3rd stay at Niall and Mhairi Stott’s Van no. 22 within Silver Sands! Home from home, clean and fantastic for families. Entire Silver Sands complex can’t be faulted. Can’t wait for next visit!

1st timer to Silversands after a short break this week and it’s definitely deserving of another visit or few! Camp layout well thought of, staff very friendly and extremely helpful with enquiries .....Only a short drive from Lossiemouth and another short drive further into a thriving Elgin

We had a great night in the Club House. Lovely meal followed with Bingo and a few drinks. Staff were lovely.

Just home from overnight stay at our caravan. Although lots of people have said the complex needs improvements which I agree but last nights tribute act Neil Diamond/Johnny Cash is the best we have seen for a long time. He was brilliant with the audience and got everyone going. Good time had by all 😀🍺🍷

We have had a lovely holiday. Kids absolutly loved the entertainment. All staff are very friendly. But the cleanliness of all facilities leaves a lot to desire. Two days it took to fill up the soap dispenser in ladies, many times there wasn't any toilet roll. And the worst bit, for last 3 days of you stay there was only ice cold water running from showers, taps etc. Swimming pool was absolutly freezing as well. And everytime a staff member was asked about it, we were told they "look into it", but nothing was done, neither no explanation was given.

Used to love silver sands, very disappointed after our week here. Toilets, baths & showers were disgusting the whole week. Showers were freezing - tried all different times of day they were always freezing & dirty. One baby changing unit in the toilet/shower/bath block which was in a toilet. Only 1 TV worked out of the 3 in the bathrooms & one bath doesn't have a plug. Half the arcade machines weren't working. Entertainment room very crammed hard to pass a buggy through. The park has 3 baby swings but only 1 big swing. I'm not sure what we needed our 'key/pass' for (bingo/crazy golf?) as the shower/toilet blocks haven't got a lock on them & the main entrance gate was open every day.

Shame to see it like this as this way my favorite childhood holiday.

However the shop has all essentials & at a very reasonable price. The swimming pool is very good, clean & has hot showers it could do with a nappy bin - or a bin.

Site looked very parched...showers and toilet block looking a tad tired, really needs a lot of tlc. Shower waste very slow and unable to keep up with flow of water..sink hot water non existent ran for 10 mins ,still no hot water....multiple dogs running free off leads..no effective speed control around site...very dissatisfied ..have been coming here for many years and nothing has changed....hopeman west beach much better....culloden moor amazing
