Sim Energy Technologies

About Sim Energy Technologies

We are at the point of no return with global warming. 70% of Greenhouse Gas emissions come from energy production. The transition to renewable energy is too slow. Driven by massive supply and distribution challenges. and global energy security tensions. We need a radical approach to generation and distribution. One that disrupts the power dynamic and control of producers over consumers and puts power directly in the hands of the people who use it. We have a vision of a zero-carbon future powered by local, renewable energy. Where power is in the hands of the people. Where the SIM is ubiquitous - generating electricity for every home, office and factory, in every corner of the globe. If we are to achieve net-zero carbon emissions, we need to electrify most aspects of industry, commerce, transportation and domestic life, and generate the electricity required from renewable sources. There are three specific challenges standing in the way: 1. ProductionThe current key renewables – wind and solar – are highly intermittent. They therefore require energy storage technology that is still not available at scale. Post-Fukushima, nuclear is on the decline. 2. TransmissionThe transmission of electricity over large distances presents significant cost and technological challenges. Current grid infrastructure will not cope with the jump in demand as we switch to electricity as our primary source of power. Massive investment will be needed, which will inflate prices. 3. ResourcesThe current drive for renewables is creating an uneven distribution of energy generation technology, both nationally and globally. As this process accelerates, it will throw up a range of political and equity challenges relating to the ownership and control of energy production. The SIM generator is a revolutionary new class of renewable energy device that will produce continuous green electricity.
It uses atmospheric pressure as its fuel source.
