Lovely food would order from them again, was told by the delivery man that I could've saved a bit of money by ordering directly from them instead of through just eat though

Wasn't sure what to expect hadn't been before and some of the reviews where quite poor reports but 6 of us went and the staff were so good at letting us know about the menu the start just kept coming and was absolutely delicious we might even have overstayed our welcome but not a word was said to us in fact they made us more coffee I could go on but enough said and my wife got a special veggie starter well done all at the Sitar thanks for a really nice night.

Not a good experience. Flies hovering around the food and not a great atmosphere. The food tasted OK but we were very dubious about the hygiene of the place and were glad to leave.

I have eaten here a few times over the years and it is gradually getting worse. I ate here on friday 16th Sept with my 4 year old daughter and it was very poor. Poppadoms and spiced onions were fine, chicken tikka was dry and over cooked, malaider sauce was so bad I could only taste the first spoonfull, rice was dry and clumpy and salad was drenched in a sour sauce that made it non-edible. The meal was brought to the table with no plates to serve the food onto. Two tables next to the bar that are used by the owners/staff resembled a messy living room. The corridor to the toilets had towels/table cloths lying in a heap on the floor and the toilets themselves are a health hazard - probably the worst toilets I have ever been in here or abroad. I felt sorry for the waiting staff as it is obvious the owners/management do not train them properly. Such a dissapointment as they used to serve nice food here.
