We can teach you to knit or crochet - learn a new skill over the autumn and winter. Meet like minded people and enjoy sharing your skills and knowledge.

Meet the latest member of the Skeins and Bobbins team - Ailis. Ailis has travelled from Ireland to join us. She's been here baa-ly a day and she already can't wait to meet ewe. She's impressed with how the shop is rammed with all things woolly. When you meet her, you'll see she's definitely not mutton dressed as lamb!

Our knitting class dates for the Autumn. Please note the Thursday class is full at the moment. Looking forward to welcoming our young knitters back!

Looking for something to knit that's a little bit different? Take a look at King Cole's Opium. This "thick and thin" yarn is composed of 54% cotton, 42% premium acrylic and 4% polyamide. It's knitted on 6mm needles so knits up quickly and gives a glamorous lace effect. 6 colours in stock and patterns to complement. Yarn is £4.39 per ball.

Knitting and crochet aren't just for winter! Come and take a look at the lovely cotton yarns we have in stock and patterns to complement. Knitting with cotton won't make your hands sweat.

New delivery of Bergere de France yarns. We've added some colours to the Ideal range. We also now stock Calinou - a wonderfully soft 4-ply yarn in 75% acrylic/25% wool. This yarn comes in 50g balls in a choice of 10 colours retailing at £3.39 per ball. There is a book containing 10 patterns to fit ages 6 months to 4 years for only £4.25 which complements the Calinou yarn.

Yes the World Cup goes on and so does our Crochet and Knitting! 2-4 pm Saturday 23rd June! With crochet tuition this week.

It may be the World Cup, but on Saturday 16th June we are still knitting/crocheting from 2-4pm! 🙂

This is a great shop for unusual and hand made gifts as well as loads of craft equipment such as wool, needles, zips, buttons etc. They also sell cards at a great price. Worth dropping in for a "look see"!! :-)

Love the shop and the staff are extremely helpful. Very different gift items and an amazing selection of wool and patterns. Lots of lovely local crafts including watercolour paintings of the surrounding area ALL at affordable prices....
