I was taking the tar off of my car the other day with this and it works very well at taking off burnt on brake dust on wheels also. Got it in MacRaes Garage, recommended.

Rememberer everyone top tip, if your wipers are frozen don't switch them on or lift the blade. Try to wiggle them free as you can rip the blades or if you have time let the window heater melt them free.

Evening Everyone, just to make you aware, We are still ordering parts on a daily basis, we do not hold any stock but can get next day delivery Monday to Friday. We have access to 95% parts from Discs, pads, wipers, exhausts, clutches, spark plugs, filters, oils etc. We also have a supply of car, commercial and Marine batteries and can also supply Motorcycle and Lawnmower batteries.
We can also supply tyres next day providing my suppliers have them in and are ordered before 2p...m Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive rate on the tyres but do not fit them.
I won't be stocking or offering car cleaning products at this time as there are lots of shops in Skye that can offer a range of products.

Car parts are still available on a next day delivery and can be collected from our house in Portree.

As the days and nights are getting colder car batteries start to fail and we will have a selection of batteries for your emergency needs.

Hi everyone, since we closed our doors in November 2014, the business has still been on going. I have always said that I plan to reopen and we are, watch this space.

Afternoon all, expect the return of Skye Auto Spares in October, we will be trading from our House on Viewfield Road and orders will be as before delivered next day. We can also offer a home delivery service to those who struggle to pick up from us, this will be free around Skye and on a Wednesday and Saturday. To Clarify, Skye Auto Spares Closed the doors on our shop in December, however we do and are still trading from our house on Viewfield road. Although I do not carry stock I will order parts in with advance notice anything from Steering racks to batteries, alternators to wiperblades, generally same rules apply orders Monday to Thursday are next day, Fridays are on a monday lunchtime. All our parts come with the years guarantee that we offered with the shop and I hope that this will fill any gap left by us in the last 6 months. We still are vat registered but unfortunately do not offer account services any more.
