Sling Along Baby

We're a social enterprise, providing slings and education to families in need in West Lothian, Falkirk, Edinburgh & the Scottish Borders. Our charity application is with OSCR and pending. This is funded through grants, donations and our private sling services. Examples of recently assisted families include: - Getting a very active and sociable little girl in a pavlik harness in a safe sling that worked around the harness, so that she could interact with the world- Helping parents with mental health conditions or learning difficulties gain the confidence to get out and about more, with use of a sling- Helping a little boy with low muscle tone have his own "daddy bag", so that he had a safe space to return to when tired- Numerous transport deprivation related referrals, removing the "buggy space" worry for those dependent on public transportWe also provide staff training to organisations who work directly with families who wouldn't otherwise be able to access our services. This is currently being redesigned into an online training course, which will remove the barrier to learning and personal development to those experiencing transport deprivation.
