About Slouch Glasgow

Slouch: Award Winning Live Music, Kitchen & Late Night Venue

Slouch Glasgow Description

Slouch Bar Restaurant & Venue hit Glasgow's Bath Street in September 2010.

Slouch has a team of chefs dedicated to using only the best locally sourced, seasonal produce. Our menus are full to bursting with homemade, hearty classics. You'll be full to bursting too once you have sampled one of our dishes. Remember and leave room for desserts.

Slouch was built on the idea that music lovers and those who love good quality food and drink are not mutually exclusive. Rock bars /Live music venues are not usually known for great service, homemade food and cocktails. Slouch is all these things and more.

We have an extensive cocktail list each one Unique to Slouch and designed by our staff themselves. Our biggest seller In Bloom is a variation on the classic Mojito replacing the soda water with Cranberry juice and adding raspberry and strawberry to the mix of mint and lime. . . its sublime. You have probably detected a theme by now. All our cocktails are named after a classic Rock N Roll tune. Try spending a Sunday working your way through the list and guessing the artists behind the names. Its a great way to spend a day off.

Slouch from its very conception has always been about music. We are dedicated to bringing the best in local talent up to seven nights a week. We are built on the concept that those who love music as much as we do will instantly find a new favourite haunt. We select our playlists daily from a handpicked library of 20, 000 songs. Owned and operated by musicians we care about the local live music scene and want to see it thrive and live up to its reputation as the best live music city in the UK.

We hold a weekly acoustic session on a Monday night, Blues Kitchen Sundays feature live music from six until midnight, local promoter's book Wednesday through Saturday. At Slouch we always have something going on but the emphasis is on quality. Our passion for the music we love is evident from the second you walk through the door.

Run by musicians for musicians its our passion and knowledge that shines through.

At Slouch we are rockin till 3am Thursday through Sunday and its always free to get in. Our DJ's will have you dancing to the wee hours or just grab a booth and enjoy a drink and a chat.

Come on down we've been expecting you …

Unplugged at Slouch
Get ready for a good'un! The one and only Pablo Jones who is known to deliver some of the best blues shows we have seen is coming back in a band format. We know him as the bringer of the best blues covers with his special take, while confusing everyone with loops and loads of pedals. What is he going to bring this time? Get your daily dose of good music!

in a world where pubs stop serving nachos after a certain time, Slouch is an absolute gem who will feed you in the wee hours of the night and give you a good time. Fab cocktails and music playlist (guitar hero nostalgia, anyone?) with a regular schedule of live music as well. I've been here more times than I care to admit, nice n cozy place for drinks, snacks, and groovy jazz on tuesdays <3

User

We were recommend this pub by a friend as we love indie/rock music the pub itself was lovely and cosy and staff were also friendly which is always a bonus! We had a great night music was great we had already eaten but the food looked amazing! Would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy pub and a casual drink.. Comfy couches and booths to sit in, although we chose to sit at the end of the bar! Which today was probably a bad idea being that close as the headache is pretty bad! 😂😂 xx

User

Very relaxed atmosphere, excellent music, good food and very pleasant staff.

User

Thanks for great venue for works night out... music and food were spot on

User

Nice place and food and prices very good!

User

My first time in Slouch! Went out at the last minute on Sunday as my partner and my self managed to get a babysitter.

We arrived roughly and around 11.30pm and were greeted by friendly and polite door staff.

We were more than a bit peckish so decided to try the meat platter! 10/10 for the food I was very surprised to get such fresh food in a bar at this time of night also at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed it so much we then ordered the chilli dogs which were perfect. We had two cocktail jugs at £13.95 Great value!

We also received great table service from the waiting staff who also brought our drinks to the table along with our food and in no way felt rushed.

Good music and a nice atmosphere was enjoyed till roughly 2.30am will be back very soon! Top marks a wee hidden gem!

User

Great food great music fantastic place to spend the night with your pals

User

Great Bar !!!

Very relaxed atmosphere. Chilled staff. Play a great selection of Rock music, including requests !!

And of course, the Beer and Food is fab.

Well worth a visit. 👍

User

Good service, great drinks and food was tasty! Be wary when ordering the chicken wings. They're not small!!! We had them as a starter before our main and it was a big mistake. Felt sick after eating so much food.

User

Food is banging, some of the finest tap beers in the city and no matter the time of day there always seem to be an atmosphere.

User

First time trying slouch last night and we were not disappointed. Music was fab and cocktails good. Great atmosphere too

User

Decided to eat here for my friends birthday lunch yesterday and I'd come straight from a gig, so my guitar and equipment was with me.

Most places I go to always look inconvenienced and annoyed by this, but Katie (our server) offered to store it away for me while we ate our meals.

The food was delicious, and I finished the whole plate. Reasonably priced too! Would highly recommend.

Thank you to Katie for the awesome service

User

Amazing bar! Kenny the steward is the best guy in the world!!! Thank you so much to him for being an absolute gentleman and walking me down the street last night. It was my first night out after being attacked and he made sure I was safe and looked after. He went above and beyond xxx

User

This was my friend and mines first time at Slouch last night, it was recommended to me. A good one I must admit. We arrived early for our table and the waiter was lovely. He explained the table wasn't ready yet and asked to go through to the bar, till it was ready. We didn't have to wait long. They gave us plenty of time to check out the menu. The food was lovely and the service was good. I asked for a portion of extra coleslaw after my burger had arrived and it took a wee time to come out. Just cause they were busy. The waitress apologised for the delay asked me if I still wanted it. I said n and she took it away with no issues. This was our first visit but we definitely be back. Thanks for helping us have a good night. Till the next time.

User

I had a pizza and my fried egg in the middle wasn't cooked well, but hoping it was an anomaly. But, there's a great selection of beers at the bar and it's a good atmosphere.

User

First bought some ribs as a starter and they were extremely salty. The server was good nice, he took it back and took it of the bill. We then had a pizza which was very nice.

User

Turned away because myself and my palmhad Irish accents and the bouncer was quite adamant that we had too much to drink, I don’t drink by the way!

User

Me and my boyfriend visited Slouch.

Even though the environment was friendly and there was live music other aspects of the night were very disappointing.

To begin with our table was very sticky.

The food we ordered was pitiful. I order a classic burger. A burger patty and some scarce salad stacked inside of a bun. As for my boyfriend, under the BURGER headline he order the falafel option... The menu is very misleading as he was served three small falafel balls which were too spicy and some rocket leaves with it. A starter portion by the price of a main.

Afterwards the situation just got worse when we went to the bar around 1am to order cocktails and the bartender told us "I am too busy to serve cocktails."

I am never setting foot on Slouch again.

User

I come here all the time with friends. Always a great place for a night out. HOWEVER Brought my parents here for a bite to eat and a few drinks to celebrate my final exams being over tonight. The door man on tonight (bald head) took one look at us and refused us entry. The excuse was ‘other groups of people have had a bit too much to drink’. Totally embarrassed!!! What a disgrace and a shame, not as if we were the typical group of ‘lads’ out for a big night out!! We shared a bottle of wine over dinner and were turned away.... I AM SO EMBARRASSED
