Was here yesterday for a hendo and the service was brilliant, lovely place to go for food and drink, friendly staff, an overall fabby day x

Stephanos, the service being ran is unbelievable! They are polite, attentive, and Stephanos has amazing control and a up beat positive vibe being created around the vicinity! Thank you so much! Regulars for a reason!!

Loved it. Had a date day on Monday with my gf as we were both off. Started here for food and cocktails. Food was brilliant and service was fantastic. The waitresses were very friendly and we got talking about Marvel which is always a win with me. The barstaff were great and informative on the cocktails. Our first time and we loved it.

Loved every min of it... cocktails were fab... service was great...(martin) new guy maybe was very friendly great laugh .. food was amazing ... such a chilled night... defo coming back � xxx

Had a great lunch yesterday afternoon with my cousin, food was lovely and the cocktails were amazing, also we were servered by a lovely girl called Sarah. Will definitely be back and would recomend it

Fantastic afternoon and evening at Lauren’s hen do. Cocktail Master Class was great value & Chris made it such fun for us all. Food & cocktails great, Chris & Stefano were awesome, outstanding service & couldn’t do enough for us. Thanks guys �

My friends and I absolutely love the slug and lettuce however as we sit here right at this moment and time we have been informed that as a party of 10 that we will no longer be served... this comment has left me absolutely shocked... we drink in here every other week however to be told that we will longer be served alcohol tonight whilst out celebrating my nieces 21st has shocked me... we have been told that we needed staff assistance to clean up 3 jugs of alcohol which has been spilt... lies.. absolute lies... I'm assuming the staff want to go home early as we seem to be the only party left on the premises... very disappointed... disgusted to be told that I've had too much to drink... I'm a professional worker... an independent woman who would never be in the position to be told such a statement... lies... and I would appreciate a phone call from the manager... I enjoy drinking in the slug and lettuce and have done for a long time... service is fantastic and the staff have only ever been great... however to be told this for what I believe to let staff home early is a disgrace... I would appreciate a message to discuss this further... thanking you in anticipation of a response....

The food and drinks were lovely however this 3 star rating is based solely on the service. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and it wasn’t overly busy. We weren’t sure if it was table service or self service at the bar, we weren’t told when we were seated. Once we ordered all our drinks and food it wasn’t until the last person had ordered food where we told there would be a wait as there was a big party elsewhere in the restaurant. Once we had finished our food our empty plates lay on the table for approx 30 mins even though plenty staff walked past our table. We had to ask for our table to be cleared as there wasn’t much room for our drinks.

Decided to spend Glasgow Fair Friday in the slug and lettuce with my daughter for cocktails. Disappointing as the cocktails we ordered from your menu were nothing like the ones we ordered off menu. No fruit or accessories with drinks which I think make them fun like the candy bracelets. Had some in another bar and we may have paid more but weren't disappointing.

We had booked a table for 10 people & they gave us 2 booths that could fit 5 each, not really what you want when out with a large group of girls. However, we all squeezed around the 1 booth. I then went to the bar to get drinks & one of the girls behind the bar very rudely stated ‘you won’t get served here move down a bit’, clearly hadn’t been on her customer service crash course. We moved down & I went to order 3 large pornstar martinis, the man behind the bar started rudely laughing & rolling his eyes then his colleague next to him also laughed & shouted ‘have fun’. I then said to him if this was a problem for him to have to make these I could wait for another server. Extremely rude & shouldn’t be working behind a bar, any of them. Genuinely won’t be back no wonder the place was quiet.

Would leave 0 stars if possible.

1 person working behind the bar and waited over 25 mins to get a drink for her then to be rude whilst serving me. Witnessed a few couples leaving due to the wait time at the bar.

Also went to order the giant pornstar martini to be told the do not have the glass that this comes in...

What has happened to the Slug & Lettuce, Glasgow? This used to be a favourite and don't think will be back. Turned people away from 1pm onwards despite the majority of tables being free and not reserved until 4pm at earliest. Little effort with cocktails and not filling up glasses was only two complaints. The place is filthy, someone needs to take a peek and the mess between booths and windows at front, there is a nossle on Hoover's designed to pick up that dirt. No atmosphere and only one person working at bar. It almost felt like customers were an inconvenience. I see I am not alone with a negative review, we can't all be wrong.

Ordered seabass which was overcooked and a shitty salad for £10.50. Rip off. Didn't ask for bill but they put it on table. One drink arrived with a coffee beans in it!!?? There were quite a few larger parties in which they didn't seem to be able to handle and it was ridiculously noisy. No wonder they have to do 50% off cocktails!

I had made a booking online 2 weeks ago which on arrival my name wasn’t there but to the girl serving me kindness she just got us a table as if we had booked. We then ordered a drink which took over 30 minutes to come. We got told there would be a delay upto 40 minutes with food but not drink so therefor were quite frustrated as it was one large pornstar martini not as if it was 4 different cocktails for the 4 us that attended. Between this time our started arrived approx 10 minutes after ordering which was cold to begin with but we ate it as we had to get to Ed Sheeran concert in a quick amount of time. I asked for side plates as the platter was just dumped on our table by the time side plates had came the platter was finished we waited approx 15 minutes for these as the cocktail came before this. No one again came to see us to take our platter away therefor we had to move it onto another table ourselves so we had room for our cocktail as we were situated at a small round table. Our mains came about 20 minutes after this which was an hour at least after ordering when we got told it would be a 40 minute wait. My main was cold, two burger mains were solid burgers totally burnt and a steak which was ordered medium rare came well done. I had to get up and look for a member of staff for them to be standing together chatting to come over and tell her about the steak to which she replied she could go try get another we did not have time for this as says before we had a concert to attend she therefor says she will deduct the steak from our bill which isn’t even curtesy as she had already took it away so I’d hope we wouldn’t pay for something that wasn’t touched due to the kitchens fault (common sense). We finished our meals and ordered 4 more drinks whilst I complained about the steak we waited 15 minutes for these. I went to pay the bill to which the guy behind the bar threw the card machine down no thanks no manners no chat nothing. I found my experience terrible to say the least and the customer service shocking. I am very disappointed with my experience but no one seemed to care at the time so I’ll be surprised if anyone cares to message me back.

Me and my friend decided that we would leave as we wanted food and drink and never received it, wasted our time and left. This is annoying as I have previously been multiple times and really enjoyed it

Front of house & staff manners are absolutely atrocious! Used to be a brilliant place to come but went severely down hill! Customer service training urgently required for staff.
