S&M Property Maintenance

S&M got in touch very quickly, surveyed swiftly and got us a very fair quote in jig time. Despite some slight delays to the work completion, it was of excellent standard. Definitely recommended. Communication was clear, professional and transparent. When we had issues these were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. We'll no doubt come back to S&M!

After an insurance claim we used this company to re fit our family bathroom. We cannot say how bad the experience was. Broken promises, delays, poor workmanship etc you can guess how disappointed we were and still are.
We bought this to the Directors attention and he had excuses for everything.
the original leak took 4 attempt to fix and the kitchen ceiling came down every time.
Just a horrible company, the foreman is just ignorant and rude, the staff sit in their vans for a majority of the day.
In fairness there are a couple of the workers who did know their stuff and were good to deal with.
Serially avoid them, very expensive and at the best shoddy, a decent DIYer could do a lot better.

Low lifes that get you to do work for them then don't pay up. Still waiting on £580 from May hardly going to bankrupt them but a weeks wages for me

Great work from the guys. I had a leak in my ceiling and Gordon came to have a look at it. Turned out it was the flat upstairs that had a leaky shower. Gordon and the team worked with myself and my neighbour and our insurance companies to get everything sorted. Great service and would highly reccomend.

+Scottish Power had been at our property 4 times over a 6 moth period trying to fix a faulty radiator.... at their last visit, they gave up and said we'd need to contact a plumber to 'flush the system' , as they (Scottish Power) cannot do this, and it's not part of the monthly Home Care free anyway.

+S&M Properties heating engineer was in for less than 10 mins, replaced a faulty pin in one of the valves... problem solved, radiator fixed.

We had these guys out doing insurance work for us after a flood at our tenement and they were great - we needed the work the be done quickly and they made sure that everything happened without hassle or fuss. They turned up on time and laid down protective covers everywhere and repaired all the flood damage. The property is looking better than before the damage and I was really pleased with how they were to deal with. The office staff were sympathetic and even offered to arrange activities for the kids on the first day they came out to rip everything out. I'd recommend them - really good guys.

Couldn't find a fault with this company, the office staff are really friendly and its never a hassle to call and ask for information. Not that you need to as they call you every other day to keep you posted with works. I really felt at ease talking to them as I felt they actually cared. The work carried out by S&M tradesmen & women in our ground floor tenement was first class and turned a 2 bedroom flat that hadn't been touched since the 1960's into a modern vibrant we laid out family flat. Cant speak highly enough of them and I will be recommending them to all my friends. Adam
