SMAR Azure Ltd, Delivering Innovative Solution for the Marine Industry

SMAR Azure was founded in February 2001 by Dr. Sabrina Malpede and Dr. Alessandro Rosiello. It was developed in order to utilise the award-winning technology developed by Dr. Malpede during her doctorate in 1997. In 2004 Dr. Donald MacVicar joined the company and since then the team has grown substantially allowing the company technology and products to be enhanced constantly.

SMAR Azure’s team is multilingual and therefore can communicate with their partners and customers in English, Italian, Spanish and French, making working relations easier and more productive.

Since it's inception, the company has worked in close relationships with sail and rig designers to produce design software applications tailored to their individual needs. Today, SMAR Azure’s products are considered as the most reliable, robust and user-friendly software for sail and rig design currently available. SMAR Azure currently has a customer base of over 200 users in 30 countries in various segments of the yachting industry.
