Wow...BEST cut EVER....and I have had many years of diverse haircuts!
Magda works her magic in a private, quirky space within Summerhall. I was searching for a new hairdresser...someone who could interpret my vision, was skilled with difficult hair and understood the functionality I required to meet my outdoor lifestyle. This very lovely person fulfilled all of this, and included great conversation and real coffee. Five stars are not enough..

Magda is a lovely and interesting human being. Firstly, I was given an appt on a very short notice. Lovely stuff. That being said, her haircutting skills are equally lovely and interesting. My hair is super fine but frizzy, thin on thw top and long... Nevertheless, she made it work and gave it a lot of volume. Exactly what I wanted :)

The best bit for me was the realization that she appreciates quality products! Being a small business, I can imagine it to be quite economical to buy from the cheaper rack, but not magda. She had products that I usually would contemplate long before buying because of their price, like Aveda. Moreover, she had a dyson hairdryer!!! Not even the biggest salons have that!! Respect!

All in all, was a lovely experience :)

Magda is a creative hairdresser who begins by really listening to the person sat in the chair. I chose her when my hairdresser of 26 years decided to retire. Her approach is intuitive based on considerable experience. She is also a lovely person who puts you at ease. I can see after my one visit why she has 5 star reviews. I look forward to my next appointment.
