A look back..

Well i feel its only appropriate to stick this status up....
Its a sad day here at SNK Transport.
We are unfortunately no longer operating from today.... A few things have made me take a step back and take time away from the business.
... The team would like to thank every single one of our customers and our business clients for there support and business over the past year and a half. Without you's it wouldn't have been possible!
Ive sat all morning looking back on jobs/pictures and the memories created by each booking! We have travelled all over the uk and ireland and that to me is amazing... Seen places i never knew existed 😂
I personally would like to thank dougie and my brother (andy) for all there hard work in helping the business get where it is today.
I would also like to thank my girlfriend, my son, my mum and dad and the rest of the family for supporting me in this journey... Without them none of this would have been possible.. So thank yous!! ❤️
This isn't the end.... We will be back 😏👌🏻

Well thats us back in Scotland after an epic 3 days away in London.
Just want to say thank you to Graham and his team and also the lady's from quiz. You's were great at having everything ready each day and also pitching in with the unloading and loading.. Much appreciated. Loved working with you's again and look forward to the next one👍🏻

Good? Fantastic!
Right. I know the page has been quiet but we are making a big push this year to get make our business grow more via Facebook. There will be adverts getting made up for advertising across the whole of Facebook. So look out for the sponsored adverts.
... We are still providing the first class service we always have.
From removals to single items. Moving items to storage. Picking items up and delivering them to you or for you. Providing assistance in your home if you need your furniture moved around and you cant manage it.
We work the full of the uk. Even had a call from wales the other day asking if we could go collect a bed and deliver it to them (came highly recommended from a friend of theres in London) they knew we were a Scottish based company so wasn't exactly on our doorstep.
Local or nationwide we will get it done.. If we have a run south booked in? Then we will post on here incase anyones looking for anything picked up or dropped off.
We are in the process of designing new uniforms and business cards for 2016. Business number is the same as on the old business cards..
So you are able to get a hold of us on that or drop us a message on here.
We can provide a packing service or if you require boxes for moving etc ask us and we can provide double walled ones cheaper than any high street store. We use thick blankets and straps/bungee cords to make sure items are secured properly.
Right lets see how many page shares we can get by the end of today and get this page kicked into high gear.. Ask your facebook friends to give it a share and like aswell! 👍🏻

Short one from us.
If you do not pay your bill.
You wont receive yours goods!
... You withhold payment. I will withhold your items.
You can try to be sly and sneaky but i will always be one step ahead of you.
This is the first time since starting we have ever came across someone booking a job with us. Going from England to Dunoon. Job got delayed due the bad weather ( i have every right to refuse to send anyone out in it if i deem it to unsafe to drive) which i did.. We agreed a delivery date with this persons customer in Dunoon. And on the day we were delivering it he cancelled his order.
We were then asked by the sender if we could return the item.
Which he was told would cost him £50 (as it was over 300 miles back down). Or he was free to get someone else to collect it from us and get them to deliver it back to him.
He choose to have us deliver it.
We arranged to bring it down next day (yesterday).. Which we did.. Unfortunately the fan on our van broke.. Luckily enough in Leicester (where we dropping the item off) We decided to stop by Euro car parts to pick up the replacement part and fit it to the van otherwise we would have had to been recovered and therefore not making any customers. We got the van sorted and headed the small 10 minute journey to drop the item off.
On arrival we chapped the door to be met with the gentleman's father. Who when asked for the agreed return price became aggressive.. Raising his voice..
We even told him we could show him proof that his son agreed a price. He just kept shouting. So for mine and my staffs safety he was told you don't pay and we don't unload. Simple as that. He choose not to pay. So we left the property and stopped round the corner to phone the customer who actually booked. He was also the same on the phone.
So it seems if they were trying to be fly and trick us into handing it over then not paying.
Which i find disgusting.
We have been left reviews by him and his "friend" which are untrue.
We were called thief's.. Ive never ever known a thief to drive 300 odd miles to return your item to you..
Simple if you paid the agreed return price.. You would have had your item.
This is the last ill say on this matter. As im far to busy dealing with genuine clients and customers today.

Well page has been quiet for a while..
Doesn't mean we have went anywhere. Just been ran of our feet with more and more work lol which is always a good thing..
We would like to take the time to thank every single person who has supported us since we started. Seeing the business grow day to day makes it worth while.
... A big thank you to the 473 customers that have booked with us up until today. Alot of repeat customers which is great!
So far this year we have been places and moved things that we would never have expected... From the top of scotland to the bottom of England.. Wales and Ireland also..
Met some great people along the way. Some great business contracts that we continue to work with.
You name it.. We have done it. From house removals, moving boat engines.. To working with some high street clients in moving there stock for photoshoots etc, setting up big letters for all types of events.
We don't stop or take a break. We travel through the night if we are required.. We don't finish until the last job is complete (once finished a house move at 2am as the client required same day service long distance due to having a hospital appointment the next day they couldn't miss) from first thing to last thing..
During the christmas period we wont be shutting!!! We will be working straight through except from christmas day and new years day.

Arrived in london.. time to unload and turn and burn

London again.. twice in one week.. first time was a house move done and another back up.. and this one is delivering a van load of suitcases from glasgow to a hotel right next to piccadily circus for thiland tourists that are touring the uk. (will get pictures uploaded when im back home)

Starting the day up here before moving on to perth for an office move.. hope everyone has a good weekend

Honestly makes our day reading reviews across the websites we use or on facebook.
But also receieving feedback through text is greatly appreciated. It makes our day knowing we provide a service thats the best.
We will never let anyone down unless someone steals 4 wheels or the engine from our vehicle..
... We got a very late last minute booking last night to move a lady and her husband into the new place because the company they had booked with... simply never turned up. Or bothered to let them know.. they instead turned there phone off.
This is not how we as a removal company work. So we decided to take the job on and help this couple out.
Moving is already stressful but for that to happen would push most over the edge..
We will turn up to edge and every job we have booked in and if running late.. we will let you know so you dont panic
If anyone is looking for any removals to be done we are more than happy to provide a quote for the different options we offer..
We also try to help out were we can and can appreciate that everyone has a budget they can afford and please dont be scared to tell us as if we can get it done.. we will.

Busy weekend ahead. Collecting a move going to london on saturday morning.. storing it until later in the day as we have two house moves booked in to get done before we head south to unload.. then reload in london and back up on the sunday.
But we dont complain.. we love the change of scenary.. lol
We are a local company but we travel all over the uk.

Small note.. im not going to try competing with every cheap quote considering some "people" are moving sofas for £12.. 😕 it costs me over £2000 a year in one insurance policy alone.. so you go work out how there paying there "insurances" lol

Simon delivered an item that was too big for me transport in my car. The person who had bought the item was over the moon with delivery service. Really reasonably priced and helpful service. Will be using the service in the future. All the best Simon and I urge all real customers who have used your service to add to your reviews.

I have used SNK Transport a few time for moving a selected number of items and a have always had excellent service very friendly

Guys had their work cut out; delivery of 2 3seater couches to a 2nd floor flat. Did a great job! Were great guys. Good banter too. Highly recommend!

First class service.Will go out of their way to exceed customers expectations.Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent service got a bed delivered couldn't be more happier with the service I received will defo recommend to family and friends job well done thank you xx

Possibly the worst couriers in the UK never delivered then demanded more money for the items returned Avoid these cowboys at all costs

If i could give lower than 1 star i would. Most of the positive reviews are fake from friends of theres. They are all just crooks, i have reported them to trading standards who made me aware of many more people and also reported to the police who are investigating. As i work for the BBC they will find themselves on Rogue traders very very soon. Should have returned the item because now you have messed your imaginary reputation up big time over £50
