Yesterday (Sun 8th April) was the 3rd, and final, ski lesson for my 2 sons who took part in Block 2. The 3 different instructors they’ve had were absolutely fantastic! If it hadn’t been for the patience of Mark on week 1, my older son would have given up as he was really struggling. Mark was so encouraging and supportive and really built up his confidence.

On week 2, Dylan was also fab, pushing the boys on further and getting them onto the main slope. The fact the group was so small (3) was a huge bonus.

Yesterday, Malcolm had them skiing from the top of the main slope and was able to give specific pointers on technique which both my boys found mega helpful.

I’m really impressed with the progress my kids made over 3 lessons (they progressed way beyond Block 2) and this is down to the amazing instructors.

I’d recommend lessons here without hesitation. Thank you!! ��

Well what can i say, Amazing place and amazing staff all wanting to help you.

Me and my pal Aaron spent all day here doing our lessons1-3 in snowboarding, Ewan and James did a great job in transforming us from nevet snowboarding to going out now and buying our oen snowboarding gear, we loved it that much so many thanks to you all and see you again soon to do our level 4. ���

We completed the 4 hour fast track session and it was worth every penny. We had never set foot on anything like skis or a snowboard etc but we were instantly put at at ease in a small group where we were all of the same ability we went through stages gradually building up confidence and capability before moving on to the next stage. There were no expectations of us and Conor made sure it was relaxed and enjoyable even when we felt we had hit a brick wall, a little pep talk spurred us on. The team were great everyone worked so well together and were friendly with great senses of humour which made you feel welcome from the start right through to the end. It was a well managed session and comfortable amount of time to cover the areas so there was no pressure. We're really looking forward to going back thanks Conor and the team

Today was my first time trying snowboarding and thanks to Denise I had the best time. I took part in the 8 hour all day course and with Denise’s advice I was able to go from never having worn a pair of snowboarding boots to being comfortable riding from the top of the main slope. Denise made each skill easy to understand, was fun, enthusiastic and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher to spend the day with. Thanks again!

Really great Fast track 1 and 2 board lesson today. Beinn was such a great and patient teacher and really knows his stuff! Lesson was in a small group so plenty of time for Beinn to help everyone and for everyone to have multiple go’s of what we were taught. Feel much more confident so would definitely recommend it! Thanks guys.

My sister and I did a snowboarding taster on Saturday. It was great, Ewan was a brilliant instructor. My sister and I along with the others in the group were made to feel so welcome and we came away feeling like we’d learnt a lot even just in an hour. Ewan’s instruction was relaxed and friendly and plenty of guidance and praise etc. We can’t wait to get back for a further lesson- we’re thinking maybe the 4 hour fast track. We had thought since we’re in Edinburgh going somewhere more local to progress but after such a good experience we have decided to come back through to snow factor to continue our snowboarding journey. Thank you Ewan and snow factor!

My husband and I had a half day snowboarding lesson yesterday with Esme who was absolutely brilliant with us!!

She made the full thing so enjoyable, helped us both separately (seeing as hubby was mega confident and I thought I was about to die!) and made it a really great relaxed lesson.



We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have already bought memberships and booked our next lessons - specifically requesting Esme fingers crossed �.



Can’t wait to go again

My husband Paul and daughter Jasmine had a 1 hour private lesson with Denise and loved it. Not as easy as they thought it was going to be but with Denise's expert knowledge and patience, they were soon moving about on the training slope. There seemed to be a lot of giggling involved! They are booked in for another lesson in 2 weeks and hope to have Denise again as she is doing such a great job guiding and teaching them whilst making it a fun experience.

My daughter attended the Easter Rookie Ski Camp. She absolutely loved it and made great profession over the week. The instructors Denni, Esme, Rio and Alan were all fantastic with the kids. They looked after them all with loads of patience and ensuring they had lots of fun.

She is now desperate to do the Rider Ski Camp in the summer!

Me and my friend booked a 2 hour private lesson - I’d never snowboarded or ski’d ever and to say I was petrified was an understatement. Blair was our trainer and he was awesome! He had the patience of a saint and recognised my fear, but by the end of it I was going down the training slope backwards on my own (considering I was even struggling to put my boots on when I first got there!)



The 2 hours passed so quickly and I had an excellent time. This place caters for all ages and all levels and is really good fun - it was hard to believe it was -10degrees!



I would definitely go back and would thoroughly recommend this place.

Just done snowboarding skills 1 with Denise and had a blast! She kept me relaxed after more than a few falls and helped me get the confidence to finish of the first set of skills. Great way to start the day and already looking to book skills 2 �

I had never been snowboarding before, and took a 4 hour snowboard lesson 4 weeks ago just before going on a snowboard holiday and I am so so glad I did it. This was level 1&2 and my instructor was Esme!! Due to Esme making the lesson super fun with clear and simple explanations we ending up covering the elements of level 1,2 and 3 within in the 4 hours which I was super happy with. Esme gave me loads of hints and tips for my holiday and because of this, I was able to make the most of the Bulgarian slopes. I came away from the lesson feeling really confident, Esme was so friendly and so full of positive praise, I would definitely recommend a lesson with Esme. Thanks again! �

I had my first snowboarding lesson on Sunday (I know, late review) and it was amazing. My instructor, Blair Price, was able and happy to keep up to my pace and put up with me falling on my butt hundreds of times haha. He was very helpful and patient and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend X

Had so much fun boarding with Blair, all the staff were really friendly and talkative, definitely check out the place and Ice Factor their sister site if you want to scale ice walls which is super cool and unique!

Had an absolutely brilliant lesson 3 last night, as with my previous 2 lessons ALL the staff were fantastic, Beinn is an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable and the information given to help was very well put across. He gave lots of small tips which led to what I felt was a massive improvement in the way I am learning to ski, brilliant session and left the slope feeling so positive & enthused about skiing. Great Job.



Had my Lesson 4 yesterday and yet again , brilliant , Denrry was a great instructor, lots of tips , clear concise instructions and feedback on where I was going wrong or right, can't wait for Lesson 5 :)

Booked the snowboarding taster session for my 12yr old Godson. Had purchased a voucher via Living Social. What a great time he had !!! Staff were amazing and made it so fun (including putting boots on haha). Great value for money and only £5 to hire waterproof clothing. Would highly recommend. He's already asking when we're going back.

Booked a session of snow boarding lessons for my son's birthday as he can ski well but wanted to learn to board. Had two different instructors during the block but both James and Alan R were fantastic and the switch of instructor didnt seem to cause any issues. Can't recommend both of them enough. Patient and clear in instruction but having fun with it too. My son loves it and is looking forward to going back for more...

A big thank you to Robyn for the taster session my 6 yr olds had with her. They both loved their first time on skis and are desperate to try again so they can go faster, we will definitely be booking some lessons before we hopefully manage to go on a holiday next year.

Just make sure that they Guarantee to finish course of lessons as they continually changed the instructor on my 2 childrens course meaning they never finished as the new instructors had to waste time checking what the kids could do. They then told me I would have to pay for another course to finish it. I think not.

He gave lots of small tips which led to what I felt was a massive improvement in the way I am learning to ski, brilliant session and left the slope feeling so positive & enthused about skiing. Great Job.



Had my Lesson 4 yesterday and yet again , brilliant , Denrry was a great instructor, lots of tips , clear concise instructions and feedback on where I was going wrong or right, can't wait for Lesson 5 :)

Booked the snowboarding taster session for my 12yr old Godson. Had purchased a voucher via Living Social. What a great time he had !!! Staff were amazing and made it so fun (including putting boots on haha). Great value for money and only £5 to hire waterproof clothing. Would highly recommend. He's already asking when we're going back.

Booked a session of snow boarding lessons for my son's birthday as he can ski well but wanted to learn to board. Had two different instructors during the block but both James and Alan R were fantastic and the switch of instructor didnt seem to cause any issues. Can't recommend both of them enough. Patient and clear in instruction but having fun with it too. My son loves it and is looking forward to going back for more...

A big thank you to Robyn for the taster session my 6 yr olds had with her. They both loved their first time on skis and are desperate to try again so they can go faster, we will definitely be booking some lessons before we hopefully manage to go on a holiday next year.

Just make sure that they Guarantee to finish course of lessons as they continually changed the instructor on my 2 childrens course meaning they never finished as the new instructors had to waste time checking what the kids could do. They then told me I would have to pay for another course to finish it. I think not.
