Went for the first time on Sunday for my birthday meal as a party of 11 and we all absolutely loved it, the selection and quality of food was great! The staff were very friendly as well, thanks for a nice night. Will definitely be back!

Myself and my boyfriend visited last night for a meal and we had a ball. The food was exquisite and the service was flawless . In particular Martine. She was extremely attentive and seemed so passionate about the food. As a foodie myself this was a joy to hear. Hearing about her grandmother's cooking was delightful. What a real gem of a girl. Such an asset to the restaurant. I will be re-booking again for sure (ensuring she is on shift of course ) and will not leave so long to visit again ๏ฟฝ

Landed a table of ten diverse and demanding diners on Sol y Sombra on a Sunday afternoon and couldn't have been more warmly welcomed. A vegan and two young children were among the ten and everyone was delighted with their food. This was some of the best vegan food I've tasted when eating out and my omnivore companions were similarly pleased. What really made the meal extraordinary was the sunny and helpful attitude of the staff. What a joyous and friendly bunch! You all made our parents' golden wedding anniversary even more special. Gracias! <3
I've visited this place quite a number of times and always look forward to going back. The food is absolutely delicious and I love the whole vibe in the restaurant upstairs and the quirky bar downstairs too. Staff are spot on and always talk you through the tapas they are serving you which adds to the whole dining experience. This is one of my number one places to go out for a meal in Dundee and Broughty Ferry.
Had our last date here, before becoming Mr & Mrs and thought it was amazing. It comes highly recommended from a lot of friends and I couldnโt agree more. Food was so tasty and the staff were so nice.

Googled somewhere nice to eat in Broughty Ferry and this restaurant came up so we decided to try it. Was a bit wary of the fact you just tell them what you donโt like/allergies then they bring out plates so no ordering but wasnโt disappointed at all. Cold starter selection was great, cold hake was lovely, hot mains fab especially the paella. Food seemed never ending. We were too full for desserts. Service great, very helpful with dietary requirements and knowledge of food/drinks etc. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious vegan tapas menu, have visited twice now and will definitely be back again. The paella is out of this world. We also had a gorgeous chocolate torte for pudding. Was very nice to have a pudding choice other than sorbet in non vegan only restaurant. Lovely attention to detail and fantastic cocktails.
Been before twice and loved it. But the food last night was fabulous. Especially the vegan choices for my daughter and daughter in law. It was a pre 16 th birthday celebration for my granddaughter and she loved it. Thank you to all the staff for a very happy night.

Tapas was really good. Only do set menu would've preferred to pick only a few as it was just all to much for me at lunch time. Staff where very friendly. Cost I feel a bit on the pricey side compare to other tapas but would go back. Small but nice

Food was ok , nothing outstanding.
Service was poor once hot tapas had been served, we might as well have been invisible. Had to ask for drinks after waiting to try and catch servers eye for ten mins. Also needed to go to the bar and ask for the bill as no staff paying any attention to us... had to go back to bar to pay bill .. same problem... no goodbyes or niceties or anything on leaving. Wonโt be going back.
First visit having heard a lot of good reviews and can see why lovely fresh food loved it will definitely be back
