Tonight's session will consist of a 5 mile fartlek session, that is slow and quick running over the 5 mile distance with rest breaks after each quick stretch. Quick distances will be approx. 800m,1 mile,700m, 500m.

Happy New Year to all! Wednesday running group recommences tonight at 7pm with the first session of 2020 and a chance to boost yourself back into action after the Xmas break.
Tonight's session will consist of a gentle run warm up (approx. 1.5 miles), three timed 1k light intervals (3/4 minute break between each) and a short warm down, total distance approx. 5 mile.

Tonight's session will consist of a one and a half mile gentle run warm up and down with a quick section in the middle. This will be 3 times timed 1k light interval (optional of course if you wish). This session is perfect if you're looking to improve your 5k times but beneficial at other distances too. It's also good if your just looki...ng to improve your aerobic energy system fitness.
