Well when I say I loved it Felix seemed to love it. It seemed as if he didn't want to come home. Even made a wee friend in the next room. Staff were friendly and the wee pics on Facebook showed that despite the warnings I gave about him he made a fool of me. Was clean and tidy and would definitley recommend using Songbird Cattery. I know I will definitley again in the future.

We have just recently started using Songbird cattery and would highly recommend them. The 'pens' are very bright and spacious giving cats the choice of being sociable or having their own space. Our scaredy cat Hope has never really got used to going to catteries in the past but we feel she is definitely more relaxed here! The surroundings are cosy for her with lovely added touches of tiny furniture and staff taking time to play with her using the laser pen or stroking her against the glass partitions. I have never liked leaving her but definitely feel confident that she is well looked after here and we will continue to use their service. Thank you!

We had never used a cattery before & after Songbird was recommended to us we decided to try our cat Larry when we were on holiday. We visited it and Linda showed us around and answered all our queries, the place is beautiful & the rooms are clean and spacious. Larry settled in amazingly, Linda and John took brilliant care of him and we will definitely be using Songbird again for our next trip!

We collected our cat Bageira yesterday after she was in Songbird for her holiday. This was the first time we have used a cattery despite her being nearly 11 years old. What a lovely friendly place where she has clearly been well looked after and we have already booked her in again for the July!

Toby had a weeks stay at this fantastic cattery . I loved the fact I put him in his pen and was told I could take my time making sure he was settled. The owner and family are all very friendly and happy to answer any questions. It’s the best cattery I’ve ever used and Toby will be back in September for his next holiday. Thanks Linda �

Rory is just back from 2 weeks in Songbird, his 2nd visit and more to come. Can’t recommend Songbird highly enough, friendly and bright environment where the cats are cared for lovingly. Allows you to totally relax on holiday knowing that your pet is in such good hands. Thanks again.

Our cat Bubbs stayed at Songbird Cattery for a week and I cannot praise the service provided by Linda and John enough. The Cattery is bright, spacious and spotlessly clean and the individual attention each and every cat gets from Linda and John during their stay is second to none. It is like a 5 star hotel for cats and Bubbs will definitely be back to stay. I honestly cannot recommend the place highly enough and the total peace of mind you have knowing your pets are being well and truly looked after makes a real difference to your holiday.

My cats stayed at Songbird cattery for 11 days and they looked as if they had as good a holiday as us.

It was great getting to see them on the Facebook page this really reassured me that my boys were being well looked after.

John and Linda were great I couldn't recommend them enough. I have already booked for our next holiday and I can go knowing that my boy will be well looked after.

My 2 kitty’s Hamish and Morag just spend their first holiday in Songbird Cattery and I would highly recommend. As this was their first time in a cattery I was quite nervous about leaving them as they can be quite timid with strangers, but after spending a good 10 minutes with them before I left they settled very quickly and enjoyed jumping around on all the climbing frames. There are plenty windows for them to watch out and I was glad to know they would be kept in the same pen together. Linda replies to emails very quickly and keeps you updated with photos on the fb page which is a great touch when your on holiday. Thank you so much again for looking after Hamish and Morag, they had a great time!

Left our boy Tips for a couple of weeks and very happy with everything!!! Facebook updates regularly kept all the family happy while we were on holiday and he was almost reluctant to leave, clearly an indication on how happy and relaxed he was. Will definitely use again!!!!!

If I could give Songbird 10 I would.

Our 6month Maine Coon George Cooney clearly was not phased by being away from home. We had pictures of him while we were away and when we came to pick him up he was in the middle of a hugging session with Lindas son and not at all interested in coming home. Thank you Linda and co and we shall see you in September.

I would highly recommend Songbird Cattery if you want a place that will give you peace of mind to leave your precious fur babies. My 3 cats were looked after to the highest standard and the pics on facebook let you have a wee look at them. I will definitely be using Songbird Cattery when we go on our next adventure.

I have just picked up my 3 cats from songbird cattery and it's clear to see they were all well looked after during the weekend. They got to know the cats individual personalities and cared for their individual needs. The pen the cats were in was a lovely spacious size which boded well for Vada who was a bit shy. The cats are happy to be home and lying out in the sunshine but I would not hesitate to make this a regular holiday home for my 3 knowing they are in safe hands with Linda and her family. I cannot thank John and Linda enough for looking after our cat Clio so well.

After a bad experience in another Cattery a few years back, we have always been reluctant for Clio to stay away from home.

However, after a two week stay at Songbird Clio has returned home as happy as ever.

Clio is a very shy cat, who does not like other people. John and Linda spent time and patients with Clio and allowed her to go to them in her own time (the only other people she has allowed near her, other than her paw-rents). By the time we returned, she was allowing them both to give her goodbye claps.

The holiday homes for cats is outstanding, every level of detail has been thought out. The rooms are kept very clean, and cats are given the option of food which suit their diet.

The updates on FB of what she was up to while we were away was very reassuring.

Thank you again John and Linda. Clio will definitely be back.

Hunter, Chase and Tink have just spent a few nights at Songbird, it's the boys 2nd visit and Tinks 1st. We can't thank yous enough for the home from home you provide for our babies, they seen to love every minute of their stay and excellent service you provide. I can highly recommend Songbird Cattery to everyone. Thanks again and we will see you very soon �

Harley spent her first week away from home in Songbird cattery.

Even though we were a bit apprehensive on leaving her away due to her shy nature, Linda and John made sure that she had a quiet spot with a window to look out as requested.

The room was spacious and very clean!

We also loved the Facebook updates and it was great to see her more and more settled throughout the week.

Harley especially enjoyed the cat tree so much that we had to buy one for our own home!

Would definitely recommend and use again!!

Had my 2 fur babies in Songbird while we were on holiday and can't rate them highly enough! Lots of communication beforehand and happy to adapt when drop off times changed.



The cats were really happy and we loved seeing the photos throughout our holiday. Linda and co take time to play with and give attention to each of their guests and really take the time to get to know the cats and their behaviours.



Will use them again without a doubt!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Especially for those using a cattery for first time. My cat didn’t have a great first start in life and he’s used to being outdoors so I was really worried. He’s come back relaxed and I’m getting extra cuddles from him (what cat owner wouldn’t want this) Linda and the team are fantastic and I knew he was in the right place as soon as I viewed. I’ve not gone on holiday for 8 years and am admittedly neurotic when it comes to Kruger’s welfare. Loved the updates and will 100% be back! Thank you so much everyone. Karen and Kruger! 😻

First time leaving Marmie and I was quite nervous but I didn’t need to be. She settled in really well and when I came to pick her up, she wasn’t bothered about leaving. I think she’d have happily stayed!

When we got her home, there were no huffs - she does that when you just leave her alone for an evening.

Would definitely recommend.
