Sounds and Symbols is a literacy-through-music programme. It offers exciting activities to promote the development of a wide range of language and literacy skills such as listening, working in a group, turn-taking, concentration, motor skills, speaking, prediction and anticipation, storytelling; appreciation of rhythm, rhyme, pitch, tempo, dynamics, duration, structure and fluency.
Many services are available - pre-school sessions, courses for primary children, adult sessions, workshops for those working with children and presentations.
The programme is also available for others to deliver in the form of a business package - you could become a presenter!
