Southside Dental Care

We've been patients here since it opened and have always been delighted with the service. Lucy is fantastic with kids, and mine have always been relaxed and happy to hop into the chair and open wide right from when they were really little.

Went there as one of my fillings has fallen out. However, as a new patient I had to do a full mouth check-up and x-ray. As I do regular check-ups every 6 months or so I was quite confident that it will be the only tooth which require some sort of treatment. However, I found out that about 5 or 6 teeth require fillings. I was shocked as I had a dentist appointment 2 months before this one. I went to another TWO dental cares and they confirmed that those teeth were completely healthy and did not require ANY treatment. I do not know the reason behind it but either their staff is very inexperienced (I was served by a polite young dentist Natalie); or unprofessional trying to rip off their customers; or their x-ray machine is broken. I will definitely not coming back and I would encourage everyone to go elsewhere.

An excellent clinic with friendly and professional staff, clean and tidy premises and minimal waiting times. They also have a text reminder service which is a great boon for appointments. Highly recommended.

Phoned to make an emergency appointment as my filling had come out and was causing me pain while eating and drinking but I was told nobody would be able to see me for more than a week even though I was told earlier that they do not take advance bookings for emergencies! It also says on their website it says they will accommodate emergencies the same day or within 24 hours.

I enjoy Southside Dental Care as much as anyone can enjoy the dentist.

The fact they have late opening hours during the week is so helpful - especially when I used to work out in Livingston. Staff is always friendly and professional. They even let me pay over the phone the day after my appointment once as the following day was pay day!

I had teeth out when I was younger due to having no adult teeth underneath and I can get a little nervous and jumpy - especially at the thought of the jags! However, the dentist I saw was very patient and gentle with me and helped put my nerves at ease.
