Southwood Foot Farm Meat & Poultry is a small family run business in South west Scotland producing Free Range Meat and Poultry that are bred and reared on our 14 acre smallholding
We purchased Southwood Foot Farm in April 2015, after renting a house on a working farm in Cumbria since 2008.

We had a rough idea of what we wanted to achieve, plenty of ideas, energy and expectations. Then of course we realized just how big the challenge is. I am sure that many Smallholders have found themselves in the same position and in our case we are blessed with the practical help and support of Mark and Kerry who are our only near neighbours, so a massive thank you to you both and your family.

We will soon be introducing additional services for customers including: -
Butchery Services on an Ad Hoc basis at very competitive prices
Dressing Service for Poultry, including Chickens, Ducks and Game Birds.

Our livestock are generally outdoors and free to graze, although our well trained birds come in at night to keep them safe from predators
