Nice cafe. Good hot chocolate and also a rather good souvenir shop

So basically we stopped there for 40 minutes break on our bus trip. There is two places to eat: fish & chips and this restaurant. We came into this small restaurant but they didn't have any choice for kids so we went to fish and chips to buy some chips for kids. We came back there, kids sat while we were in the queue making an order. When we had our food on the table a lady informed us that kids can't eat here so we asked for take away boxes (!!!!????) By the time we went outside, we suppose to be back to the bus. We were eating our cold soup and jacket potato - I didnt even fell like to eat it anymore (there waa missing cheese inside) while kids were eating chips outside of the barriers of this restaurant as they weren't allowed to eat even outside. Come on, I understand that you can't bring your food to the restaurant , but this is actually place to stop and eat something quick! Our time was limited like everybody s else time; this place is there specially for bus trips and tourist passing by so that should be obvious. Of course I don't recommend and I won't be back there as I was on trip, and probably that's what they think anyway, so they don't care.

Old style restaurant, quite clean 2/5. Food 3/5. View outside 4/5. Prices 4/5. Stuff 4/5.

Good place to stop off. There's a nice coffee shop there which sell good food, a whisky shop with a good selection and plenty of opertunities to grab a few presents to take home with you.

Had a lovely coffee here. A very clean environment and very friendly staff. Excellent choice of gifts to buy.

Cafe was nice shop was very highland generic with lots of touristy items. Worth stopping by if already in the town however not worth travelling to specifically.

This place is stuck in a time worp. 1970 style. Who uses uht milk they should be using fresh milk.

I was hoping there was still a working mill here so was disappointed to find there wasn't. A fairly small complex but next to a beautiful babbling river! A Spar/post office was next to it. We could see that weaving demonstrations were given, but we weren't there at the right time to see this. The cafe looked fine. The usual gifts were available in the gift shop (nice ones, not 'tat'!)with some 'high end' items (e.g cashmere clothing) also available in the clothing departments.

We stopped here from our day tour of Highlands. There is a good collection of stuff here. We got some souvenirs and some scottish sweet food. It's a nice place to visit.
The cafe was also good. We had veg panini and coffee which was good.
