Our Speech and Language Therapy team work with adults with acquired speech, language, communication, swallowing or voice disorders.

Speech and Language Therapists (SLT's) and SLT support workers assess, diagnose and treat adults who have difficulties with; speech, language, swallowing, communication, stammering, voice and dyspraxia. This may be as a result of stroke, brain injury, progressive degenerative disease, other neurological or behavioural causes. We work closely with family, carers and other professionals, as well as the person, to ensure the best possible outcome for patients.
