Weather Update: The roads are now passable

Weather Update: At the moment we are unable to get up Upper Achintore because of the snow and I would imagine the Plantation will be the same.

Now got my automatic connect back on the road, a massive thanks to Ross Hunter Garage for another quick repair but an insight into the car dealership’s, bought the part from Parks in Inverness in July and it has done 37000miles but seemingly car parts are different and you can’t claim the money back for faulty goods unless they do the work, that’s the dealership’s for you.

So this year (it’s going to be boring but not sympathy seeking ) I’m going to put updates on the health of the cars, as every year I have major problems with them and to start this year my Ford automatic connect has a faulty Flywheel which Ford cannot get a part for but B &H Autos have managed to source one for me and will hopefully be here next week, sometime’s you’re local shops are the best place to go as they go the extra mile for you, my other Ford Connect’s head gasket ...has gone so all parts hopefully be here by start of next week as well and now My Ford transit has had an ongoing DPF problem which I have spent a lot of money on last year with Parks in Inverness to solve the problem but to no avail now poor Ross Hunter has ended up with all this on his doorstep but like any mechanic that loves helping his customers he is doing a fantastic job of getting them all back on the road with a lot of obstacles as the Ford company will not give access to their computer technology to help customers who have bought their products but I will do everything in my power to get my service fully operational soon, Thanks for your patience on this issue and I will update as things change. Merry Xmas from Speeders Cabs Just to let everyone know we have 2 cars out until 12pm today then 1 until 6pm then we will have 3 cars out all night and also due to a Highland Council mistake all our meters are still set on the original tariffs so Speeders Cabs will be charging the Tariff 3 where as other taxis that have different meters will be charging the new tariffs so as this cannot be rectified Speeders Cabs will be charging less than other taxis but please don’t think you are being ripped off by them, it is just they’re meters have been calibrated properly.
