It is with a very heavy heart that I must share that we lost a very dear member of the Spex Pistols Family this morning. Arthur Gordon 94 was a real friend. The kind of person who would make everyone smile with his warmth, generosity, and love. WeŌĆÖre very sad to say that as of today, Spex Pistols will be closing. Hopefully, just for a little while. We always want to look after our staff, customers and community, so weŌĆÖll be taking guidance from the government on how long our closure may last. We will of course keep you updated. Thank you to everyone who came to our wee shop in @urbanmarketdundee at the Keiller Centre this weekend.
It was as much fun finding new homes for our record players, ghetto blaster radios and personal stereos as it was individually buying and restoring them.

This story is not for you unless you have a warm heart, Christmas spirit and believe in miracles.
These spex were found in Newport, with our name on the side, handed in, and we tried to find the owner.
... No luck at all
This morning, @thefemmebot came in and decided to go through the data base to try to find it.
Against all odds, she found it within 5 minutes!!!
So we phoned the owner. It so happens that she was so upset about losing them 2 weeks ago that she went to church last night. Somebody there said ŌĆ£why donŌĆÖt we pray to find them? ItŌĆÖll workŌĆØ
So they did.
Less than 12 hours later, we called to say theyŌĆÖd been found ŌØż’ĖÅŌØż’ĖÅŌØż’ĖÅŌØż’ĖÅŌØż’ĖÅ

Next week, on 21st December, we will officially be 8 years old ­¤śŹ­¤ż®
... And every year, on our birthday, we like to party with our friends.
This year, we are at @71brewing. ItŌĆÖs the last Saturday night before Christmas and EVERYONE likes to make it their night out.
It starts with acoustic harmonies by Dave Webster & Stevie Anderson to warm us up, with a lovely festive buffet by @parlourpeople and an incredible bar by 71.
But the night doesnŌĆÖt stop there - we have the incredible AUTODISCO, who are also hosting the party of the year, providing the delirious sounds of celebration until midnight. What better way can there be to let your hair down away from the mayhem of the city centre?
We only have 40 or so tickets left and a lot of people who want to be there
