Just spent the most fabulous long week-end at Spey Lodge. So much to do literally from the doorstep - miles of walking, biking, swimming - in the most spectacular scenery. Accommodation wonderful too.

We have visited Spey Lodge many times and it has always made us feel entirely relaxed and at home. Just saying that should be enough compared to many other places we have stayed in. We had a fabulous time walking through the woods and the children just went off and played outside building bivvies and playing in the beautiful countryside. Inside is beautifully open and fresh, with a great space that makes you feel linked to the outside from the inside. All mod cons inside plus some you may want to fit at your own home when you get back too ! Because its just by Aviemore there are tons of things to do with or without children. If you want a beautiful, private, romantic location that can indulge and entertain adults and children alike, then this is the place.
