Getting "Jack and Victor" our two Shetlands that we bought earlier in the year from Jane Barry finally going in the carriage today, first a but of single work and then out as a pair - passing big lorries and everything - they are naturals - now we need to get Ozzie going up front and we will have a Unicorn :-) Thanks to Dawn Macdonald and Mandy Lenz for helping today and Hannah Accorsini and Lee-anne Menzies for all the work they have put in with them over the summer. A wee bit of fence repairs this morning with Robert Davie at Speyside Beach Meadows before heading off to Edinburgh to fly back to India for work while watching John Macpherson riffing his newly planted tatties next door on The Acres Kingussie - first time tatties planted down here in over 60 years and first time for John in about 42 years 😉 It is so nice the sun is out and Spring is here ;-)

Cairngorms RDA Group visit on Thursday 26Apr18 to learn more about RDA Carriage Driving to the Garoich (Geerie) RDA Carriage Driving Group at Strathorn Farm near Inverurie. Thanks to Ruth Skinner and her team for making us so welcome and for the coffee cake and training session attended by Dawn Macdonald, Anne Tidmarsh and Ruaridh Ormiston from CRDA :-)

Busy Day today moving Highland Ponies, Highland Cattle and then harrowing and rolling the Riding Area at Speyside Beach Meadows Kingussie :-) Looking good again and ready to ride on once more :-)

Just created a new page here on Facebook for Speyside Beach Meadows Kingussie :-) This is the new riding area down by the River Spey and River Gynack in Kingussie with IT'S OWN BEACH !! That will be the new home to Cairngorms RDA Group (Riding for the Disabled) we are just on the process of planning applications with Highland Council for some exciting new developments down there that will allow the Group to start operating again in Kingussie.
