Wasnt that impressed with my curry a lamb dansac..pretty average and rotten coriander nan which wasnt well cooked. I doubt they have a tandoor in the kitche. Good service tho..

Fantastic food and service. Very fine selection of wines and beer. Separate lounge that has a pianist at the weekend - lovely to relax to with low lighting. Highly recommended

Insane prices justifiable for nice food. Curries are good ect but ...... 3.75 for chips! Thats mental.... unjustifiable and just taking money for fun

What service and food was amazing. A wee bit pricey but you pay for what you get, very big portions.

User

Awful. Will not use again! Quick to take your money but deliver trash!

My family always go out for a meal on Xmas eve and the experience we had last year prompted us to go to spice again this year but the experience was much different, we had booked well in advance and paid £60 deposit, when we arrived we were seated in the bar area and when we asked for a high chair for our 3 yr old (which was booked in advance) we were told they were all being used so she had to sit on our knee during the meal, the food was fantastic and young friendly staff who served us couldn't do enough for us but the service and length of time between courses was a joke, we had to repeatedly ask for food or drinks that we ordered, we waited about 20 mins after we asked for the bill, eventually the manager came over with the bill and asked us for the receipt for the deposit which in my opinion they should already have a note of and automatically taken off the bill, the bill did seem quite hefty but it wasn't itemised for every item we ordered so difficult to check if we were being overcharged, so two extremely different experiences from last year to this.

Fantastic quality of food......Been today on Christmas day 2016 and the speed of the food was great as well as quality.....

This is only my opinion, but it is the correct one!
Arrived at the hotel too late to eat, if you call 21:15 late, and found ourselves wandering for food. We were able to get a seat here without hassle. Seat by the fire was welcome on a cold night.

Skipped the starter for some popadoms and spicy onions. Staff were great, asked waiter for a recommendation and had a fantastic chicken tikka and lamb Lbllylpur (not sure about the spelling) curry for mains.

I found the food portions quite generous, two mains with rice and a nan side was plenty. I couldn't finish all my food.

Overall very happy to find a place to serve us late on a Monday evening, food and service were very good. No complaints and can recommend the dish I had.
