RECALL notice of ISC carabiner used in TruBlue autobelays
The ABC have been notified about a RECALL notice for a carabiner frequently used in TruBlue autobelay deviced. The text of the notice is below:
... "SAFETY NOTICE: ISC Carabiner Safety Notice
Effective Immediately – Please Read
One of Head Rush Technologies' supply partners, International Safety Components (ISC), has notified us of an issue with a component they supply. The component impacted by this notice is the "KH260 Twister Karabiner" which is used primarily in the TRUBLUE 12.5 meter (40ft) and 7.5 meter (24.6ft) webbings. You have received this notice because you may have received a device or replacement webbing that could have been affected.
We have identified that the products impacted are Head Rush devices and webbings with the steel carabiner sold between May, 2017 and February 7, 2018. All Head Rush products manufactured after February 8th, 2018 that use this carabiner have been thoroughly inspected and are suitable for use. ISC has outlined an inspection process below to determine if your carabiner has been affected. Please read below (see three attached pictures).
If your carabiner has been determined to be affected by this issue as stated via the inspection process (i.e. has batch number of 16CC, has a lot number of 82997, the carabiner does not have red paintfill or if the nut rotates), do not send to ISC. Head Rush Technologies will provide, at no charge, replacement webbings for affected units. If you find that you have an affected webbing, take a picture of the carabiner and please contact Head Rush Customer service at +1 720 565 6885 or emailinfo@headrushtech.com."

Went today for the first time with a 5 and 6 year old. Both of them really enjoyed themselves and learned alot in the time they were there. The instructor graeme was fantastic with the children and very patient. Definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back.

We have used SpireRoxx a fair few times now, and have had a consistently friendly welcome every time.

Both myself and my 6 year old have done many tasters sessions, where the staff are always enthusiastic and knowledgeable, making you feel at ease and safe.

More recently I have done my belay training, I was taught by Paula and felt she was very patient, and also tailored it to me being left handed. Now that I'm belaying my daughter independently I know that the staff wouldn't hesitate to help if I needed assistance.

In addition to the friendly staff the equipment is always well maintained, there is always a delicious and reasonably priced snack available in the cafe area after a climb, and the entire place including the toilets is always clean.

We came in tonight as a group of 3 for the taster session. The kids had a great time and the staff were really friendly. It was value for money and the instructor was very helpful. We will definitely recommend and return soon. Thanks again.

Visited SpireRoxx today for a one hour taster session with my sister and her partner, it was a group of 6 with 2 instructors which worked well. It was good fun and the instructors were friendly and encouraging. Lovely cafe and soft play area as well, a great addition to Elgin, would definitely recommend.

Very good taster session, staff very helpful and the time whizzed by. Lovely cafe with delicious coffee and tray bakes. Fab use of an old church, the stained glass windows were very atmospheric! Only one teensy gripe...it seemed a big group so there was a bit of standing about. We all really enjoyed it though.

Took my two children today for a taster session for the three of us (kids aren't getting all the fun!) it was fantastic! Paula was a fantastic instructor and we all loved it. Having it so close is a great thing and we'll definitely all be going again soon! Thank you for a fantastic afternoon!

Kids loved it! Instructor was excellent with our youngest as she didn't have the confidence to go to the top, but he was excellent with her. Thank you very much, kids can't wait to revisit!

Just home from a taster session with my daughter and her friend and they both loved it, the instructor Paula was excellent and had great patience with them and was really good at boosting the kids confidence and never made them feel that they had to do anything they didn't want to. Booked with company at really short notice and service couldn't have been better! Many thanks we will be back and would definitely recommend!

I just wanted to thank the Spireroxx for their kind donation towards the New Elgin Primary Parent Council Bingo last night at the school. It was a roaring success with dabbers dabbing on every table! We raised over £1600 thanks to donations like these. Norman.

I booked a 1hr taster session for my 8 year old son. His instructor was called Ali and he was very friendly and patient with him. As it was quiet today my son received one to one attention, which was brilliant and helped him progress quicker. My son had an amazing time and we had a lovely lunch afterwards in the cafe which

serves delicious food. We will definitely be back.

Had our first trip to Spireroxx today and we had a fantastic time! The wall had a huge range of climbs for all abilities and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The cafe is really good value for money too with very tasty cakes! All the facilities, toilets etc, are lovely and clean. Cant wait to go back! Thank you guys!

A bit belated, but thank thank you so much for five great sessions over the holidays with the boys (aged 7) in the summer kids sessions. They absolutely loved it and looked forward to it each week. All of the instructors were awesome with safety at the forefront and great at giving them the gentle (but firm) encouragement needed to go beyond their comfort zones. Ethan and Jamie were sad when it ended and both want to come back next holidays �

We booked a taster session which was very good , great instructor but we were a party of 5 with one instructor which meant quite a bit of waiting as only one person climbing . Thoroughly enjoyed it . However would have like an idea of other options available for next time ie birthday parties , going it alone as i have some climbing experience and there didnt appear to be any prices , leaflets . We didnt feel like they were trying to get us to come back just shown the door and given our shoes back .
