... Its always best to avoid prolonged sun exposure for the days leading upto your treatment or at least use suitable SPF protection (as you should anyway #SkinCancerAwareness ). Any sun damaged skin may have patchy results but I will try my very best to avoid this. I may have years of experience #spraytangeek but do you know how hard it is to blend white straplines!? **insert panic attack here**
So you got burnt 😱 - ah man! In most cases I can still do the treatment. Its recommended to use only organic / natural spray tan solution as you don't need or want to be putting any chemicals on your healing skin (thank heavens for Suntana😍!!).
1 - The best thing YOU can do before your spray tan is moisturise moisturise moisturise!! You've damaged your skin and it needs help to repair itself so the days before your treatment use creams with aloe vera or some type of skin healing cream. 2 - Shower in cooler water as this slows down the peeling process and cools the skin. 3 - 'Gently' exfoliate the affected area before your treatment with just a regular face cloth - dont go over scrubbing as this will cause more sensitivity to the area and freshly peeled skin doesnt tan so well. 4 - Lastly, I may sound like your mother here but - DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! Healing skin needs hydration. Don't be afraid, you cant drown yourself by over drinking.... 😗
