Its been a brilliant 2 days working with everyone who attended to basic welding course. I hope everyone had fun learning the basics. The end of the first day of another Fabrication skills course.
The SSERC team have really enjoyed working with everyone today. Time for a rest now for everyone to recharge their batteries ready for day 2.
Final projects to complete tomorrow and look at spot welding and other sheet metal joining techniques.

I'm planning to run another welding course in either March or May.
For it to be viable I would need at least 5 teachers or technicians interested.

What a fantastic 2 days it has been working with all the Technology PGDE students from Strathclyde and Edinburgh University.
The SSERC technology team would like to thank everyone who attended the very first Scottish Universities Technology School. We look forward to working with you all in the future as you progress into your teaching career.
