St Abbs Visitor Centre

Excellent place to visit if you're around South Scottish Borders xx

Excellent centre showing history and way of life of area!!

Great little museum and the volunteer staff were a mind of information.

Run by the local community, this centre offers an interesting display of local history. The staff provide advice and information to visitors. A large telescope offers a close up view of 🐦 bird life. Occasionally seals, 🐬 dolphins and other sea creatures can be spotted.

Nice tearoom with outside tables - perfect for a sunny day. Nearby St Abbs head great for watching gulls, fulmar and other seabirds.

Small visitor centre but closed for winter, informative staff

Set up to promote St Abbs which it does quite well but like many visitor centres let down by the amount of tat it has on sale.
