‪Potato Sacks wanted! It’s that time of year when we are thinking about the upcoming school sport’s day (planned for 21st May - weather permitting)! If you are able to provide potato sacks for the races please get in touch with the school office. Thank you in advance. ‬

There have been a few conversations amongst pupils about the momo challenge. The article below provides some good, practical advice around general internet safety to help ensure children are not exposed to inappropriate material. https://bbc.in/2EeyIQy

Dear parents, we are looking forward to our Christmas concert on Thursday this week. The children have been singing their wee hearts out in preparation and can’t wait for you to come along and listen.
Here are a few housekeeping items will help keep us on time with the performance and ensure that things go smoothly; • Doors do not open until 1.30pm so please do not arrive too early • Please ensure you park considerately, Fife Council will be here to ensure the rules about ye...llow lines are followed, they have the power to enforce the lines • The playground will be open for parking, look out for the people in high vis vests to direct you to a space • Please do not stand in any of the aisles in the hall. The children will be making their way to the stage during their performance around the aisles and they must be clear for them to pass • Please do not bring buggies, pushchairs etc in to the hall, there just simply isn’t enough room for them (we want to have as many seats as we are allowed so as many people can enjoy the performance as possible) • We do not mind you filming your child or taking photos of your child, however please ensure it is only your child in the photo and would ask that you do not post pictures on social media if there is even a snippet of another child in the photo. Also please DO NOT tag the school in the photos.
There will be a raffle so please bring your pennies! The money goes towards items for the children such as Christmas party costs, trips etc.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation and please don’t forget to tell the grannies, aunties and uncles that might be coming along too, we don’t want them getting a ticket either!
Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday,

We have recently had some complaints from people living close to the school with regard to parking at the end of the school day. We would ask all parents and carers to show consideration when parking. We are continuing to look at ways of improving our travel arrangements and will look forward to working with you on this.

If you are one of our parent helpers or you would like to be, please come along to a short meeting on Tuesday 18th September at 2.15pm. The purpose of the meeting is for us to find out how you would like to help e.g. trips, in school volunteering, discos etc and create a list of names we can call on. There are many activities in the school that we could not run if it were not for parent helpers and the support is gratefully received. If you cannot attend and there is someone in your family who is keen to support, please let them know about the meeting. We have some toys for smaller children if child care is an issue, so please don't worry about bringing younger children to the meeting. We hope to see you there.
