Great progress by all our Tue eve trainees.

Training Week 12-16 Aug 2019
Training week is fast approaching and it will be the biggest and best ever! As well as having as much fun as possible, we will be following the RYA syllabus so can award certificates.
The week will follow a similar format of the last few years - two separate groups doing five morning or afternoon sessions, Monday to Thursday and then one full day on Friday for everyone when we will embark on a mini-adventure to a classified location. The cost f...or members will be £100 for juniors and £120 for adults. Non-members must take temporary membership which is an additional £35 which will be refunded against full membership in the event of joining the club. Mon - Thu morning sessions are 0930-1230 and afternoons 1400-1700.
One of the reasons we can offer low prices is our amazing volunteers. They are pivotal to us all enjoying a successful week. We need people to instruct / helm, man the safety boats and tractor, help launch and recover the dinghies from the beach, man the radio in the clubhouse, help in the galley and do the admin - there is a role for anyone, with or without experience or qualifications.

The North Sea has decided to make its presence felt with expected surf and swell of 7-10ft - not ideal conditions for sailing! BUT FEAR NOT- the tide will be in and the harbour full of calm, flat water so all sessions will still take place but in the harbour. We look forward to welcoming you at St. Andrews sailing club as planned.

Come and try sailing this weekend only for £2 for adults and £1 for kids. You'll get to see great views of St. Andrews while experiencing the joys of sailing!
