Hope all the pupils are excited as tomorrow,13th Nov, is our Eco celebration day!
WEAR GREEN All pupils will come to school wearing 'green' - no football strips please. Please do not buy something green if your child does not have anything green as that goes against being eco-friendly. Perhaps you can think of something eco-friendly to wear, e.g. a fairtrade t-shirt or something.
... TOY SWAP SHOP Get clearing out those cupboards before Christmas! Please support this event by sending in any unwanted toys that can be used for the Toy swap shop on Tuesday. This was one of the pupil's suggestions but will not be very successful if we don't get any toys in. Classes will be given a slot when they can visit the shop.
Hot Dogs and Hot Chocolate As well as participating in eco-friendly activities, we need an element of fun and celebration so we are having Hot Dogs and Hot Chocolate on sale for all pupils. Classes will be called for to visit the Hot Dog and Hot Chocolate stand. Β£1 Hot Dogs 50p Hot Chocolate. (Vegetarian option will be available!)
Eco Bricks During that day, pupils will be making eco-bricks. Eco Bricks are made from plastic bottles - any size - that are stuffed and packed full of old plastic waste. Again please support this by sending in plastic bottles and clean plastic rubbish to make these - they will then be used to build something in the playground. Ps They need to be jam packed in order to be sturdy to build something so as much plastic waste as possible! It will also clear up our local environment by ensuring the plastic waste isn't littering our local area.
Please support our Eco Celebration by sending in what you can.
