St. Cyprian'S Church, Lenzie Description

St. Cyprian's is a small but active church in Lenzie, which is part of Kirkintilloch, on the edge of Glasgow. It welcomes all people, who would like to join us for worship.
Our main service on a Sunday is at 10. 30am, although we have a quieter said service at 9. 15am.

Janet would like to invite everyone to her singing and piano pupils' concert on Sunday 23rd June at 7pm at St.Cyprian's Church, Beech Rd, Lenzie G66 4HN. The concert will last around an hour with refreshments afterwards. The entrance fee is £6 for adults and £3 for children, payable on the door. All proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK.

This coming Sunday in the Christian Calendar is Pentecost - the day we remember the Holy Spirit came to God's people to strengthen, heal and inspire. To mark this, our service at St. Cyprian's Church, Lenzie, on Sunday (9th June) at 10.30am will be a healing service, when we will pray for anyone who would like special prayer, whether for illness, sadness, sorrow, or anything else. St. Cyprian's Church is on Beech Rd, G66 4HN. Everyone is welcome to come along.

This coming Sunday - 2nd June - is the annual "Praise in the Park" service organised by the churches Kirkintilloch and Lenzie, as part of the Kirkintilloch festival. It's at the bandstand in Peel Park (if wet in the hall at St. Ninian's Church). 7.00pm. Why not come along - it's a great "do!"

This evening - Saturday - at St. Cyprian's Church, our next step in the celebration of Easter. 7.30pm. A simple quiet celebration of communion as we remember the early hours of Easter - when nothing seemed to have happened, yet the tomb was empty............. Everyone is welcome to come and join us.

Today, good Friday, the churches of Lenzie continue to mark Easter. We have our annual walk of witness this morning - starting at Lenzie Old Church just after 10am.
This evening the Churches of Lenzie - Lenzie Union, Lenzie Old and St. Cyprian's will gather for worship - 7.30pm at the Union Church.
People are also welcome at St. Cyprian's on Beech Rd at 2pm, for an hour of thoughts at the foot of the cross.

The Churches of Lenzie - Lenzie Old, Lenzie Union and St. Cyprian's begin to mark Easter this evening, when they gather together at St. Cyprian's Church on Beech Rd (G66 4HN) for worship at 7.30pm.
The service remembers the last evening of the life of Christ.
After the service the church will be open until 11.00pm for anyone to drop in and spend time in quiet for as long as they want.

This coming Sunday - 31st March is Mothering Sunday. We have a special service at 10.30am, when our Mother's Union will be taking part in the service. Why not come along - adults or kids - and make your Mothering Sunday special? Would love to see you.

If you're not doing anything this coming Saturday - 23rd March, why not go to the coffee morning and craft fair at the Park Centre, 45 Kerr St, Kirkintilloch 10am - 12.30pm. Costs £2 to get in. Jenny from church is helping to run it, and our church is having a stall there.

This coming Tuesday (5th March) is Pancake day - otherwise known as shrove Tuesday. We have pancakes at the rectory anytime between 4- 8pm. Come whenever you can. If you want directions to the Rectory, give us a ring on 0141 776 3866.
