We welcomed the children who are preparing for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion to both Masses at the weekend as they continue their journey to celebrate this Sacrament in May. The children are invited to a short retreat morning next Saturday 23rd March beginning at 9.00am in the Hall and concluding at 11.30am in the Church. Many sincere thanks to the parish catechists who will lead the retreat and just a reminder to the children that they should behave towards the parish catechists as they would towards their teachers in school.

Thought for the week:
“Prayer backed up with Christian action is extra powerful. Prayer asks: fasting knocks on the door: almsgiving opens the door.”
