I have worked with St. Giles on a professional level as well as enjoyed their premises as a local tourist, and I just can't speak highly enough of the place and the people working here at every level. Thanks for staffing the place with all legends, guys.

A very nice cathedral. No entrance fees. Interesting architecture.

First time I 've been to a cathedral so small, but elegant. After the pomp and splendour of St:Paul's and Westminister Abby in London, this was a place where one felt like kneeling down in front of the Lord! And the architecture is so splendid as to easily capture your attention and interest for more than a couple of hours.

Beautiful stained glass, historic memorial plaques, and the Thistle Chapel. Trying to find the green men is interesting too. Well worth visiting.

Thoroughly enjoyable Cathedral with a cafe downstairs and a special side chapel only open certain hours of the day. Open daily, but since it is a working cathedral, there will be times on Sunday where it is unavailable for showing. Usually there is a roof tour for small numbers and only when it isn't raining. There's a cozy little gift shop too.

Cool Cathedral. You can get a photographer's pass for 2 pounds. A must stop on the Royal Mile

It's an extremely beautiful architectural structure. We didn't get the time to go inside, however from outside itself it was extremely beautiful. A must see on the Royal Mile.

Not your typical cathedral. This place is more interesting and has staff that will gladly tell you more about some aspects. Only minor downside is you have to pay 2 pounds to take photos inside.

Magnificent building on the Royal Mile having very beautiful facade with intricate carvings. Equally wonderful stoneworks inside. Wonderful Gothic style architecture. The tranquil atmosphere inside the cathedral is mesmerising. The tinted glass windows amplifies the beauty.. Also known as "High Kirk of Edinburgh", it is the principal place of worship of Church of Scotland.

No entry fees. £2 for photography.

Music performances, concerts are organised occasionally (you can find future events in the 'Upcoming events' section). I was not lucky enough to experience that when I had visited the cathedral.
