St Nicholas Church

About St Nicholas Church

We are a growing parish church, seeking to proclaim the unchanging message of God's love and mercy that we find revealed in the Bible and in Jesus Christ.

St Nicholas Church Description

Christians have worshipped God on this site for over 900 years. And with such a beautiful setting, it's no wonder! But St Nicholas Church is much more than a lovely building - we are a living church!

We believe that the message of God's love and mercy to us, as revealed in the Bible and in his Son, Jesus, is the greatest news of all time and we'd love to share it with you.

Why not check out our website for details of our services? These vary in style across the week from traditional to informal. Plus there's information about our other regular activities and special events.

In our welcome leaflet you'll also find an introduction to the things we believe about God, the Bible and us as human beings. We hope you find it a useful place to start and that you'll want to come along and find out more. You're certain of a warm welcome whenever you come.

If you want to get to know us a little more before you come along - why not listen to one of our recent talks or download a sermon to read or come alone to one of our special events?

If you are interested in having your child baptised, or you are planning a wedding, there's plenty of information there too.

The best church around!

The church family are incredible! Every member of the church is filled with joy, love, knowledge of faith and time for others.

I have never met such a happy bunch of people that are not only willing to spend as much time as you want answering any questions that you may have but also willing to immediately accept you into their lives.

Every member of staff if of the upmost quality and they make you feel instantly at home.

I unfortunately have a very bad past filled with a huge selection of illegal activities. I was self focused on myself and hurt anyone that got in the way.

I feared I would be judged when first coming too church to accept faith and change my rotten ways. I as many others thought that I would be hurled out and no one would want to talk too me because of my past.

I couldn't have been more wrong.

I was instantly brought in by Dan and Dave and was shown that no matter what you have done in the past, you will ALWAYS be accepted in the church family and given that new fresh slate to work off of.

If you are already a follower of this amazing religion or are thinking of looking into it then please trust me when I say that the St Nicholas church is the home for you.

You can tell Dan or Dave anything and not only is it kept confidential but they help heal the emotional pain that you are feeling from it and relieve you from your "ball and chains"

I know I have gone on a bit but this church deserves more than a few word review. It is truly a heaven on earth.

God bless
