St Vincent'S Hospice Description
St. Vincent’s Hospice is a provider of specialist palliative care for individuals and families affected by life limiting illnesses across Renfrewshire. Their team of dedicated staff provide, care, support and guidance in their eight bed In-Patient Unit, their Day Hospice and in people’s own homes.
Caring for families is a key focus of the Hospice, delivering a Children and Young Persons Service, offering pre and post bereavement care to children and young people who are facing challenges due to the loss of a significant person in their life.

Our first Cocktails on the Clyde Event took place at the beautiful Mar Hall in Bishopton on Sunday 23 June and was a fantastic day for everyone involved.
The day was filled with fun, entertainment and laughter, with plenty of goods from our stall holders to enjoy a spot of shopping while sipping on a delicious cocktail, before getting their dancing shoes on to the Jersey Notes for a journey back in time with some classic tunes. Of course the day would not have been complete without our amazing host Steve McKenna, and we owe a big thanks to Mar Hall and our Sponsors at MacDuff International for all of their support and making this event possible.

This week we said a fond farewell to Katrina Vine after many years at St. Vincent's and playing a huge part in some of the biggest developments at our Hospice. From our Community Garden, to our Footpath and much, much more, Katrina's contributions to us will benefit the community for years to come, and we wish her the very best for the future!

You lost little buddy?? Sophie the Giraffe was found outside our Barn Tearoom earlier this week and is waiting to be collected.

We are so thankful to Olivia Hamilton, J6 Pupil at St Columba's School, Kilmacolm, who wanted to do something with her classmates to raise money for our Hospice for looking after her Papa last year. Recently holding a bake sale and a movie night, they raised over £700 for our services!
Olivia came in yesterday to donate the money personally, alongside her mum, one of our Ambassador’s, Victoria, who is running the Loch Ness Marathon in October. The money from these events wil...l be helping towards her target of raising £10,000 for St. Vincent’s.
Olivia said she never expected to raise so much and is very pleased at what she and her friends were able to achieve. We want to say a huge thank you to Olivia, her teachers and the pupils for all their support for the money they have raised!
