Starbucks

Why do I have to buy something before I am able to use the toilet? What if I am on my own? Do I take my coffee to the toilet or leave it on the table and trust people not to interfere with it? What about pregnant people who have to wait in the usually long queue just so they can get a code? Not cool really. Also, when you finally gain access to them, half the toilets are out of order and the other half are a mess. Pretty poor facilities overall. Oh and my coffee was burnt and the temperature was far too hot.

Friendly staff, usual prices and clean toilet. Check upstairs for seats as it was mentally busy. On the plus side there's a quick turnaround of people. Great location.

Everything was fine until I went upstairs to sit down and enjoy my salad, where I had the pleasure of sitting with 3 tiny flies flying around me and constantly landing on my food. So put off by this place now, it was gross and completely put me off my food.

Went there with a friend whoe bought a drink 5 minutes after we sat down, however was constantly given a bad look by one of the female staff every time she passed us by. Literally at one point she went into the toilets and 2 other staff members went in not long after, opening the door, looking at me and closing the door. As she went between the toilet and the staff room I kid you not, she would stare at us. My friend was in disbelief so I told him to look in the direction of the door upon the next time she peeped out at us. Before he could do this, she came over to us and asked us if my friend's drink was his to which he told her it was as he drank it. After that she went downstairs and didn't bother us at all for the rest of our visit. Incredibly awkward without a doubt.

One of the busiest Starbucks in Edinburgh, it's a bit crowded and understaffed every time I visited, but they try hard and you just have to wait a bit for your drinks.

Good variety, friendly staff and located in a busy part of the city. There is a large seating selection available upstairs although it was very busy when I visited and no tables available. If you really want a seat, you may wish to check upstairs before ordering.

The image of starbucks is usually peaceful and calm. However this starbuck is noisy and dirty. The staffs rarely clean the table. Also, all the plugs are unable to charge which was annoying. I would consider to visit other cafe shop next time.
