Starbucks Coffee

The staff here are just LOVELY! ... and I honestly mean that. I have been to many coffee houses, but I felt truly welcome here.

Lovely place for the Bruntsfield community.

Coffee is pretty good too, BUT be careful, sometimes it tastes a little burnt... that means your machine heads are too hot or that they are holding a shot of ground in them for too long - get that checked out folks... apart from that, I love the place.

Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Made my visit with my baby granddaughter in her pram an absolute pleasure. I will definitely return and spread the word.

Typical Starbucks decor, cosy seating area inside well separated from the serving area by a row of columns. Tables outside on the rare occasions the weather is good! Chat from the staff is usually very friendly and the crowd is mainly student and academics from the nearby university. Popular also with young mums mid-morning so if babies aren't your thing bear this in mind, although mostly it is pretty chilled and peaceful.

This place is always dirty. Every time I come in there are always dirty dishes and cups on the tables which no one seems to make an effort to clear. I almost always have to clear my own table every time I'm there. There are always crumbs everywhere and they never make an effort to sweep the place. The staff are very friendly and the seating is comfortable but personally I would not choose to come back here.

Just as good or bad as any other Starbucks, overprice coffee in my opinion. The best it offers is probably the environment, great for casual meetings. This particular shop is not very big and tends to be crouded with students given that it is very close to Edinburgh Napier University and a couple of schools.

It was a rare time on a Sunday where all the tables weren't occupied in the afternoon. Staff are friendly and made my frappe exactly the way I liked it which I hadn't had happen for a while.
