Stefeny Frances Beauty Therapy Description

Hi everyone!
welcome to my business page : o)
Please feel free to contact me through facebook if you have any questions or would like to book an appointment.
I do work alone, so if I do not answer straight away, I will get back to you as soon as I am free.
I offer a wide range of beauty and massage therapies. I started my business in June 2008 in Kirkcaldy and am lucky enough to have a loyal clientele who have stayed with me throughout my progression. I am always happy to take appointments for clients old and new.

I specialise in sugaring hair removal and am currently one of the only advanced sugaring practitioners trained with Alexandria professional in Fife. #

I began teaching in 2010, offering a great range of courses both in beauty and complementary /massage therapies. I LOVE teaching, really look forward to meeting new students each week and helping them grow professionally! For more information on the courses available please visit;

Hi everyone!
I know it’s a sad time for a lot of you lol, but just a reminder that I’ll be breaking off in 4 weeks for maternity leave. My diary is pretty much fully booked for the next 4 weeks so I don’t have many spaces for switching/changing appointments around. I will be messaging everyone the day before your appointment just to confirm. See you soon 😊 x

I read so many articles from companies offering “painless” intimate waxing. I’m sorry to say, but there is no such thing. By using the word “painless” it implies that you won’t feel a thing, and that’s just not realistic! There are different factors that determine how comfortable an intimate hair removal treatment will be 1. Your therapist - are they qualified and experienced in carrying out a Hollywood or Brazilian? 2. The product - I offer sugaring for intimate hair remov...al. Through experience and feedback from my clients over the last 8 years since I started offering sugaring, they all agree it is gentler on the skin with no irritation after. 3. How long it takes - some hot waxes/strip waxes can take as long as 45 minutes to carry out a Hollywood!! Ouch! Sugaring takes 10 minutes from start to finish! 🙌
Do your research before attending an intimate hair removal appointment (ask to see qualifications if you like). Also remember, just because one salon/therapist charges £35 and another charges £20- doesn’t mean you’re getting a better service because you’re paying more! A Hollywood shouldn’t hurt your bank balance anymore than your lady bits!
Happy Friday!! 😁

Huge well done to my student today who successfully completed her henna brows training. Amazing eyebrow transformation! Today’s student attended our conversion brows course- a shorter course aimed at experienced therapists who have previously qualified in HD brows or semi permanent make up. Get in touch if you would like to add henna brows to your treatment list. We also offer a beginners course in henna brows, you will learn all about eyebrow shapes, henna colours, eyebrow mapping and how to achieve the best look for your client.

Hi everyone,
Just another reminder of my cancellation/no show policy.
I don’t like it, but I have to have a cancellation policy in place. Due to an increasing number of late cancellations and no shows I’m left with spaces in the diary that could easily be filled had I been given notice.
... As I work alone and part time, I rely on all of my clients showing up to earn a living. Some days I have as much as 3 hours worth of no shows or late cancellations (could you imagine not being paid for 3 hours of work even though you were at your work?)
I understand that genuine emergencies do crop up, but please where possible give me as much notice as you can if you’re unable to attend an appointment.

Are you a therapist looking to update your eyebrow skills? Henna is the latest eyebrow must have treatment, and is taking over from traditional tint. We offer accredited, recognised diploma courses in henna brows. With different course options for beginners to advanced therapists. Get in touch to find out our next available date to train in this amazing treatment.

My lovely client gave me permission to post this photo. Look at that reduction after ONE laser session!! Laser is a great treatment for those who *want less hair *are irritated by shaving ... *find even the thought of waxing too painful *want less body hair maintenance for day to day life
Some people just have a few laser sessions to thin out the growth and then go back to waxing. This makes your waxing experience much less painful as there’s not as much thick/course hair to be pulled out.
If laser is something you’ve been considering, then please get in touch for more information 😊

Hello everyone! So...as many of you know (and for those who don’t...surprise!) I’ll be going off on maternity leave at the end of June (providing I don’t go earlier). So I’ve got 15 weeks left to work, and for a lot of you that’s only 3 more appointments if you come monthly. Please, if you haven’t booked your appointments in and you know that you’re wanting treatments done, get them booked in! I will be cutting my hours down throughout June, so there will be even less appoi...ntment times available. Please also be aware that ALL JUNE APPOINTMENTS will be booked on a provisional basis in case I do go early or I’m just not coping with leaning over the bed working. (For this reason, I would recommend if you have a holiday/important event in June, to maybe book elsewhere for that appointment, as I’d hate to let you down at the last minute!) I know a lot of you have asked about where else to go while I’m off, and I’m happy to recommend a couple of ladies I know 😊 Thank you for all the kind wishes and congratulations we have had so far 🥰

I get a lot of people asking me “why is laser so expensive?” There are a lot of answers to this questions, but my main answer is “it’s not really”
Yes it’s a big out lay at first, but in the long run it actually saves you money. For example - if you are a regular Hollywood waxer and get waxed every 4 weeks. The average Hollywood wax is £20. £20 every month over a year is £240. Over, let say 4 years, this is £960, and you’re still going to need waxed for the next 4+ years! ... If you were to get laser it would be £80 per session, and let’s say you needed 8 treatments over a year. That’s £640- and that’s you potentially done for life! While the results vary from person to person, most of my clients say it’s well worth getting done and are really happy with the results.
Remember, if you are considering laser hair removal- please do your research. Please go to someone who is FULLY QUALIFIED AND INSURED in providing these treatments. I hear about so many “therapists” who have done an online course and bought their machine from eBay. No background knowledge of the machine they are using, no insurance in place, and no training.
So when you think laser is expensive, know that if it looks a bit pricey compared to another salon, it’s maybe because the therapist has attended the highest level of laser training available, is fully insured, and uses a reputable machine with a authentication number that clients can use to check where the machine came from.
*please note- this is not aimed at any salon/therapists in specific. Just a general message to explain why I price my laser the way I do. 😊
