What a joy it is to go into Stepping Stones! Great shoes, great service and my girls don’t want to leave! Feels like going to visit friends the staff are so nice. I just wish some of the funky shoes they have came in adult sizes! �

We took our 2 year old daughter for a trim today. Jackie was so patient and friendly throughout. My daughter was not impressed at having her haircut but with all the toys available she was soon distracted enough for Jackie to snip the ends. Very happy with it considering she hardly stood still, Jackie has still managed to make it nice and neat. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who has a child that struggles with getting a haircut as it can be a trauma for some. Very child friendly place.

We have had a great experience everytime we have been. My son has has his haircut and feet measured and everyone is always so friendly and helpful. My son was running about in the shop and bumped his head and was given a cuddle and cold compress and was fine! Also got a lovely keepsake photo of my other little boy getting his first photo. Thank you again.

Visited after recommendation from a friend who lives locally as my little boy needed a haircut and feet measured to get new shoes for summer. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, and my son loved the car, caterpillar, and play area and left with a fab new hairstyle and wearing his perfect fitting new shoes and with a dinosaur puppet he took a shining to which he enjoyed showing to passers by along the beach! Such a great concept and much better to support unique independents rather than generic, unpersonal chains.

Thanks for the excellent service today, Abi is so impressed with her shoes she is away to bed still wearing them!

After being told by one of the other big shoe brands that my daughters feet were so wide yet still very short that they didn't have anything I store or online, and advised just to leave her in socks and come back at a later date and get her measured again!

I certainly wasn't expecting to be into stepping stones measured, shown a selection of 4 pairs of shoes, tried on and bought within 30 mins.

Thank you so much to the lovely lovely ladies in the shop today who made the ordeal of getting my toddlers haircut bearable. Everyone was so kind and helpful!

Staff were fantastic with my little one who hates anything to do with shoe fittings and was also needing a nap! I have never had such a thorough child’s shoes fitting -was fantastic. Range of shoes is great and staff spent time making sure she got a pair that really fitted properly. Would definitely recommend!

My little boy has recently been diagnosed with autism and struggles to get his hair cut. Everyone in stepping stones were so understanding and customer service was impeccable. Jackie sat on the floor with my son and cut his hair and was so patient with him! He didn’t want to leave at the end! Thank again for the fantastic job yous did! We will definitely be back!

It's taken a while but just want to highly recommend Stepping Stones, after 7 years of searching for a shop which will fit my wee girls well and give us choice, I have finally found my go to shop. Choice was amazing, customer service first class and I will not be going anywhere else for shoes again. I have tried every shop recommended previously but never found anywhere that I came out 100% happy, this year was so different and my girls love their boots. My little girl who has arthritis has never had hers off, so I know they are a lovely comfy fit as she is not one for hiding when her feet are sore or uncomfortable.

I took my son in for a haircut today and had a lovely experience. The lady that cut his hair was really patient and we had a really good chat. Won't go anywhere else now!

I couldn't recommend this shop enough, it's absolutely amazing with lovely staff who are always willing to help. My 5 year old daughter has very long slim feet and a very fussy mummy. Anyway after a thorough fitting and trying on all the favourites she came away with 2 pairs of loverly boots which fit perfectly on her narrow feet and skinny ankles - we have a very happy little girl and a happy mummy.

Had out first visit to Stepping Stones yesterday with our 9 month old son to get a pair of pre walker shoes, Mhari was fantastic with him and the polaroid picture we got of him wearing his new shoes was a lovely wee touch. We will definitely be back and will be recommending others to visit the beautiful shop! Thanks again girls! x

Great service and advice. Great selection of practical to trendy wee shoes. Really happy with purchases on the two occasions we have been in the shop. Winter boots were fab and today's purchase of trainers are perfect for the spring. Worth the spend.

Fantastic shop with great choice and first class service. I got my 17month old daughters winter boots here and she loves them! So much personal care and attention from staff by measuring her feet and making sure the shoes were exactly right. My 5 yr old was also well entertained with toys go play with. I picked up a few early Christmas gifts for friends too. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. You get so much more here than you would from an impersonal chain store or online. Keep up the great work girls!

Fantastic experience in Stepping Stones as usual today! Unfortunately my toddler fell and had a bleeding nose just before we got to the shop. Staff immediately rushed to get wipes for me to clean her up and looked after my other daughter and got started on her walk in hair cut while I did so. Both girls left delighted. One with a fixed nose and having had a play with lovely toys and the other with a beautiful new hairstyle after a long awaited shot in the racing car cutting chair! Huge thanks to both ladies, you're fab!

Couldn't recommend highly enough. Service was fantastic. Will definitely make the trip from Aberdeen for my sons shoes in future. By far the most positive and friendly shopping experience I've had with a toddler! Wishing you every success in your business, you really deserve to do well.

Best place to get children’s shoes � we have tried a few and none have even come close to how lovely, professional and patient the guys here are! Toddler totally occupied by the clever play area and one year old made a fuss of getting her first shoes and photo taken by the awesome Catherine!

Amazing! Chloe is a fab hairdresser, patient, kind, understanding and nothing is a problem. She settled my wee man in before she even attempted too cut, he loved the wee car and music he had to listen too and dance too! He felt at ease and sat yes sat the whole time...

Chloe was attentive to my ask, even offered to take more off. She made hair falling off a game and allowed him to have fun my tickling her with wee brush in return.... just excellent!



He then enjoyed a wee play with the toys while I had a wee look round. Mhari aloud him to empty blocks everywhere, bang on noisy toys and colour with crayons!

All this in one shop!!!
