The concept of Sterling Care Homes Ltd was born out of a deep desire - one that recognised the increasing need for specialist care homes that would deliver significant improvements to the quality of life of older people rather than institutionalise them. Our aim was, and continues to be, to provide the quality of care that would be good enough for a member of our own family—a type of care that promotes living without losing one’s independence or giving up lifestyle choices to live in a secure environment.

Today we have the honour and privilege to celebrate Nightingale House Care Home’s 10 year anniversary with residents, relatives, staff and the local community under the current ownership and management. We will be forever grateful to our team over the past 10 years, to the residents and relatives that have put trust in us to care for them or their loved one and for the family that has been formed over the past decade.
The residents would like to say a massive thank you to all the lovely people who have taken time out on their travels to send them postcards. It’s been a lovely talking point for our residents they have been reminiscing about holidays they have been on over the years and different places they have lived all around the world. Congratulations to the team at Nightingale House that retained our Care Inspection grading of 5. The inspection took place over three days with a new inspector and based on the new care standards. We are grateful for our fantastic team that provide excellent care and support to all our residents. Well done! 👏🏼🎉☺️

We had a farewell party with entertainment for Jimmy who is leaving us on Monday to move to Fife. We will be sad to see him go after 4 years. His friends and staff at Nightingale House would like to wish him good luck in his new home. You will be dearly missed Jimmy!❤️
