We have received a lovely message from a neighbour at Inchyra who was in a spot of bother during these challenging conditions. Congratulations to you all and delighted to have been able to help!
Can I just say a huge thank you to the driver of the JCB with snow clearer who was clearing the road from Stewarts village to St Madoes on Wednesday morning. I got a call from my son who lives in Inchyra to say his wife had gone into labour & they couldn't get their cars out so would... I come & get them to take them to Ninewells, quickly!! Turned into St Madoes worrying how I was going to get along the Inchyra road, even with my volvo! By some huge luck this driver & snow plough was just starting to go back along the Inchyra road, I flagged him down like a mad woman, explained my daughter in law was in labour & asked if he could clear the road right down to their house. No hesitation & was very quickly got me safely there to collect them & head for hospital! I am proud to say I have a gorgeous grandson born safe & sound in Ninewells with much thanks to this special man in your employment! Thank you so so much. Stewart's kindness doesn't stop there as have continued to keep the road clear & my son can now get his car out to go see his new family safely! Thank you very much!
