Stirling And Central Livery Description
We offer fantastic facilities with a purpose built stable block holding 26 stables. Our stables are all 12ft x12ft with automatic water drinkers, corner hay racks, large tack room with individual lockers, two feed rooms as well as hot and cold water available in the wash bay.
We have a brilliant all weather floodlit 50m x 30m sand, fibre and rubber outdoor arena which is complete with jumps and dressage markers for the use of our clients. If you prefer hacking you have the use of hacking round our land as well as Plean Country Park situated only 2 miles away.
Our grazing is well maintained with paddocks holding a small number of horses per field. We grow our own high quality timothy hay and haylage which is included ad lib all year round within your monthly livery fee. We also supply quality shavings on site delivered to your stable door for your own convenience.
We hold two annual open shows which have dressage and show jumping classes along with many social yard activities throughout the year.
On site we have toilet facilities as well as our chatterbox which is a heated seating area with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.

Premium Rape Straw Bedding... We are delighted to now be stocking Equinola horse bedding from Bedwell Bedding. Rape straw bedding provides a lovely dust free comfy bed for your horse. The bedding is treated with natural essential oils to discourage horses from eating it and it also gives a fresh smell to your bed. Very absorbent and keeps your muck heap down as it takes less time than shavings to rot down. Bags are between 19-19.5kg and are well compacted. Bags are extra... strong and don’t burst easily unlike standard bedding.
Available for collection or delivery... - £7 per bale when taking 30 or more (Full pallet is 48 bales) - Single bales £7.50 **Delivery is an additional cost**

Livery space available to arrive between 7/6- 14/6. We are back to back in the isolation stables with new livery clients arriving however a last minute space has become available. Our isolation procedure is three weeks with a strangles blood test prior to arriving.

DIY Livery available... £195 per month includes ad-lib hay/haylage, 12x12 saltire stable with hay cage and automatic drinker, daily turnout all year round, overnight turnout over the summer months, individual tack lockers, floodlight all weather 50x30 outdoor, floodlight 15x30 indoor, shavings and rape straw bedding onsite, hot/cold water in wash bay, small field groups, annual show, off road hacking, 15mins hack from Plean Country Park or 5mins from Auchenbowie country roads... with various different routes to hack for hours.

Did you know we sell lovely free range eggs? They are for sale in the hutch at the farm end of the livery just look out for the signs. £3 per dozen or £1.50 for half a dozen 🐓

We would just like to address some recent rumours that have got back to us here at Stirling & Central.
Just to confirm that our yard DOES NOT have any strangles cases and all of our horses and ponies are fit and healthy.
We did have a suspected case and three horses were isolated and closely monitored for three weeks. They were all tested and have been given the all clear and are now back with the rest of the horses.
... We would like to stress that if we were ever in the unfortunate position to have strangles on our yard our first port of call would be to let our own clients know and then make it public knowledge to everyone else.
Our biosecurity remains high as always with new arrivals coming onto the yard requiring a clear strangles blood test before entering followed by three weeks isolation away from all other horses.
