Stirling International Angling Festival 9-10th of August

An event this August this year bringing together all the disciplines of the Angling sport.

The Stirling International Angling festival is a huge collection of Angling Competitions, Tournaments and taster opportunities all leading up to a huge Main Event at Stirling Agricultural Centre over the weekend of the 9th and 10th of August 2014.

The Stirling International Angling Festival is a great opportunity for everybody to take part in the fantastic sport of Angling. A huge array of activities will be available completely free of charge for the complete novice to the seasoned Angler. Including:

· Free ‘Have a go’ sessions fishing for trout.
· Free professional casting instruction.
· Try out Distance casting with the European Champions
· Free Fly tying instruction
· Introduction to Fishing for all ages.
· Entertainment, games and education for the kids
· Big fish hook-up simulators.

· Product showcases and casting demonstrations at the River Teith with some of the best casters in the world.
· Malt Whisky tasting.
· Local produce try and buy market.
· Prize giving ceremony.
· Seminars (25 minutes) covering a host of Angling related topics.
