Stirling University Ladies Gaelic Football Description

Gaelic football is one of the most exciting and fast paced sports the uni has to offer. We welcome everyone regardless of previous experience and we guarantee that once you start playing gaelic you wont want to stop. Even though Gaelic is an Irish sport we have members that are from all parts of the UK and Europe. If anyone has any questions just email the email address stated.

Training:

Monday: 2pm-4pm Grass Pitches

Wednesdays: 9pm-10pm Sand Pitches

Friday: 2pm-4pm Grass Pitches
8pm-10pm Sand Pitches

The Gaelic football team also offers members with a great social experience. There are regular socials throughout the year, these can range from Christmas and End of year dinners to themed nights. We are sponsored by Dusk nightclub which allows us to hold event nights in Dusk. Last year for example we held a Country & Western night which was quite successful and the Dusk St Patricks Day event which was hugely successful.

Like a traditional Gaelic Club in Ireland, both the Mens and Ladies Gaelic Football teams work very closely with each other resulting in regular joint training sessions and socials.
