Stobo Castle Health Spa

My lovely daughter treated me to a wonderful surprise weekend at Stobo Castle for my 70th birthday in September. Everything about it was absolutely amazing . We had a fabulous room in the main building with beautiful views over the grounds. I enjoyed everything about it including our late-night dip in the outdoor hot tub after dinner one night. I was totally spoiled and pampered. I couldn't have had a better birthday surprise. Thanks to everyone at Stobo for making our weekeng unforgettable.

Rooms are very dirty, owner is always drunk.... Cashmire Suit are the most expensive room in this hotel and it's nothing special. 300 pounds ppn that's to much for it. Oriental Suit it's horrible, the wall paper could make only big headache, nightmare.

Perfection, went with my aunt for a pre wedding destress and I was treated like royalty nothing was too much for the staff our room was beautiful the grounds are fabulous you can just unwind in the peacefulness that is here

Luxurious spa day. Very good food. Spoil yourself.

Had a lovely day but the staff skimp on treatment times was meant to have a half an hour massage but was only just 20 minutes. Also hand and foot treatments are not worth the money literally just a foot scrub like you could do at home. Food was excellent however.

Had a great time, went as a group of girls for an evening escape package which was very relaxing. The outdoor hot tubs were closed but the provided us with a couple bottles for champagne because we couldn't use them which was very good. Had a really lovely night.

A very relaxing place. Spa facilities are first class and although there are some renovations going on, this really doesn't impact anything. The places that have been renovated are looking great. The food is lovely and they catered well to our gluten free and vegetarian requests. All the staff were lovely. I genuinely didn't want to leave. I think Stobo is best experienced with a 2 night stay. There's not really enough time to try everything of they're one night. My only quibble is that you don't get to use the facilities before check in (3pm) or check out (12pm) it really makes it hard to use everything.
