Stonehill Holiday Cottage

Our self catering holiday cottage is situated on a family farm, near the village of Crawfordjohn in Lanarkshire, central Scotland and sleeps 6 guests.

Stonehill is a traditional stone built cottage, renovated to a high standard, with an enclosed garden and a south facing conservatory providing a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.

The cottage offers a peaceful rural setting on a working farm, perfect for a relaxing break, combined with easy access to major roads making it an ideal location for visiting the attractions of Lanarkshire and central Scotland.

We also have a farm airstrip with hangarage for microlights, making Stonehill Cottage a great base for exploring Scotland by air too!

There’s plenty to see and do locally. Visit the old market towns of Lanark and Biggar, pan for gold at Wanlockhead, Scotland’s highest village, or visit New Lanark, a world heritage site. If you want a more active holiday, there is superb local walking, fishing, bird watching, cycling and golfing.

The accommodation comprises of 1 large double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, lounge with wood burning stove and double sofa bed, large kitchen / dining room, utility room with separate WC, family bathroom with shower over bath and conservatory.

We supply bed linen, towels and all heating and electricity costs are included in our prices.
