Stonehouse Business Association - Keep It Stonehouse

About Stonehouse Business Association - Keep It Stonehouse

A not-for-profit organisation to encourage the people of Stonehouse, Lanarkshire to buy local or use local services.

Stonehouse Business Association - Keep It Stonehouse Description

With just under the 2, 500 households and nearly 6, 000 people the aim of the association is to widely and actively help promote over 100 businesses and organisations in and around Stonehouse directly to the local residents. There are many reasons for trading locally wherever possible, most importantly it supports the local economy and high street. Research shows that for every 100p spent at a locally-owned business, 73p remains in the local economy.
The website will provide access to a local business directory, services, community groups, events and important local contact details all updated regularly as well as other promotional activity. As the association evolves it will also look to have a proactive role and input into decisions within Stonehouse that could help the local business community.
